Stage Timing check

Right, I know there are some differences in strains etc but just to confirm some timings for me ready for my first grow.
seedling - around 2 weeks will have some proper leaves. Start counting as veg stage
Veg - About 4 weeks
Flower - I was going to say 8 weeks but from what I’ve read on here I think it will more than likely be around 10/12 weeks depending on strain. Will be watching hairs & tri’a
Am I about right with this then?

On a side point, I’ve read that with the Tri’s, the longer you leave the more sedative high you get, the earlier the more head/energetic high. I always thought this depended on the strain I.e, sat indi

Veg 4 and get weed. Veg longer and get more. Roots make the fruits. The more time spent allowing root development results in a larger plant with thicker stems and resulting bigger flowers.

And buddy - mark 10 weeks off your calendar for flower time. Minimum. Most strains go 10-11 and that’s if you’re lucky. Sativas can go forever

Just to confirm, is this with or without the seedling stage. As I’ve read people count the veg as soon as the seed breaks ground so based on my post it would be 6 weeks before flower. Or would you say longer than 4 week after the initial 2 week seedling stage.

Makes sense. Veg for 6-8 weeks after they leave seedling stage. In a good size container before flipping to flower.
