Lowest possible groing temp at night?

Past 65 honestly is not good at all. Get them somewhere warmer ASAP
See i would but the plants arent saying that theyve been in same enviroment all growth and look great no curling leaves no yellowing . Just healthy green and budding ! My question is how low is too low . They are doing just fine at night when they are at 57 so where should i say not any lower?

so im new to all this and have had no issues with my ladys or sexing my plants humidity has been good to me but im concered about the temperature. Durring the day light is on and temp. is around 63 but at night it drops to about 57 degrees. Im told getting the pots off the floor will increase temp a bit but my question is , is it too cold or can i get away with 57 degree nights?

Those temperatures and the difference between them are going to cause you a lot of issues, especially using blurple LED. When you are flowing them they will stretch a whole lot more than you will want. They will have even more of a hard time taking in and processing potassium and what buds you might get will be airy. With that type of lighting you will want your temperatures to be at around 83-85 lights on and 75f lights off.

You really should use a heater (the oil filled radiator type work well) and a warm mist humidifier with an environmental controller (like the inkbirds mentioned before). They make an inexpensive model that will run both for you). The reason being, LEDs don't put enough infrared radiation for the plants to grow well at low temperatures.

I believe that if you don't do something about the temperature, you will end up disappointed with your results.

Also, it's not that a person can't grow a half way decent plant under blurples, (so don't get me wrong there). It's just that I would switch to an hps system over running the lights you have, with the environment they and your plants are in. The hps will put out more heat (and ir) when the lights are on. And in turn lessen the time your heater will need to run.
Anyway, I hope it all works out for you.
Good luck friend!

I dont woory too much about the night temp, its the days I care about I like a temp above 27C bout 85F its working ok for me.

Invest in a little heater.
63 lights on is not going to do well. The lights off temp won’t kill them. But it will slow them way down for sure.

you could also switch to a HPS for winter growing.

Is your temp too low? Maybe I would try and raise it.

Instead of a heater maybe start a veg tent with an inefficient bulb and have the exhaust vent into the flower tent as a sort of heater. Run the veg lights 24/7. Will also get you a head start on next crop.

I also suggest placing Rigid Insulation on the bottom of your grow, plus raise the pots off the ground. Having pots on the ground just sucks the heat out of the planters. More so on a garage floor.

Hope this helps
Cheers

Blooming and i believe i see purple leaves starting to show! They lookin good!
You are failing to understand that the issues with low temps, such as mold or powdery mildew, are incurable once they appear. So waiting until you have issues with low temps will be too late to deal with it, by the time you get powdery mildew you have lost the crop.

But you are new to this, and some things we have to learn the hard way. I lost so many plants one year to powdery mildew due to low temperatures that my plants never go below 72 degrees F with lights off. Pain and loss will teach you when nothing else will.

Still no mold im kind of looking for diff outcomes . So far plants are telling me they are ok . Insulated my garage and temps stabilized a bit humidity is between 40 and 50 percent. Somtimes you have to do it innthe name of science

Oh man lol you probably should have posted pics of the plants in the first post. Those things are struggling, im guessing that light pulls an EXTREMELY low amount of power

Well, I hate to be critical so all I will say is there is not much growth so there will be very little to smoke. For science.

I grow in an unfinished Michigan Basement and night temps easily are as low as 64 F when my lights cut off during the winter. Daytime temps I let rise as high as 80 F at the canopy. If you take a temperature gun and shoot the buds with lights on the stalks will be around the air temperature ~75 F, your growing media/rootzone should optimally be around 68 F at least in my couple years of experimenting in a sealed grow with no ventilation and co2 supplementation (Liquid Propane Titan Atlas burner) and 3 ton mini-split head to 6 1000W Gavita.

Personally I think anything below 60 F is dangerous and can cause stunted growth or other issues such as powdery mildew, especially if your humidity is above 50%, period. You can get powdery mildew when its dry too but its a lot harder than when its moist and cold air.

Considering your temperatures I'm assuming you're running LED lighting because your temps are not getting very high at all. Just so you know, your plants will "pray" and perk up if you heat that room up to 75-78 F guaranteed. Without they will be kinda laying down, at least in my experience literally just walking downstairs into my veg room and it being 68 F in there with lights on.. : To get your temperatures higher you could consider adding T5 lighting which puts out a decent amount of nice warmth. I regret not keeping some T5 lighting in my veg room because now I do have the issue of it getting too cold in there during the winter months..

Heaters in gardens are risky business, you can dry the air out too much so you need to select the correct TYPE of heater. The best heaters are going to be oil radiator style heaters (they have no lights and put off no dry air) and or a mini-split Air Conditioner with a heat pump.. (Very expensive, hence why I let my temps drop to mid/low 60s no problem, literally saves me hundreds of dollars per/month..

What equipment do you have in your room running? There are a lot of ways to improve the room depending on budget, space and spare time you have to offer to your garden. One friend of mine just built a mega insulated room 360 degrees and keeps his temps 75-68 F 24/7/365 with no problems..

I'd do that but again I'm in an unfinished basement and not looking to spend $2,000 on a properly built and insulated room like that. I'd rather spend $2,000 on new lights, another dehumidifier or hell even another mini-split air conditioner unit...
