Ever own a monkey?? Ha Ha Ha!! A cute minute of actual hours of stress and bewilderment. On my last dog and 2 cats. Been there. Borrow one. Rent it. Don't commit until tried.
Yea actually. So my step mom was a wild life rehabilitater back in New York. There was a store called "Parrots of the world" they had a spider monkey with a broken leg that she nursed back to health.

He was cool as shit. Loved him. But yea he was a handful all the time.

Bought a purple spider monkey when I was 20. $650 for Mikey. $1000 for cage. $200 for shots. Diapers, food ect. Cool s hell with me. Any company he would throw his full diaper, urinate on people. And lure women to him to grab their hair and slam their head against the cage. Not to mention the mess, waste and damage when he was just moving about. Sold him and all for $250 about 6 weeks in. Still feel like I let him down. but not pets.

Neon chameleons are cooler! I know someone who owns a marmoset, nasty thing. Cute as hell but definitely not a pet. More like an unruly miniature, mobile infant.
