Just switched to Jack's 5-12-26 with great results

I've been running GH's maxi grow and bloom for about a year and a half. I was mixing my fertilizer on demand the day of watering up until recently when it became advantageous and highly convenient to keep holding reservoirs of premixed solution on hand. Within 48 hours the reservoir would go cloudy forming white precipitate. By 72 hours the res was completely trashed. I've tried multiple solutions to remedy the issue and have since given up. I need a fertilizer that's stable. With that in mind I made the switch to Jack's 5-12-26. I was able to hold my veg reservoir for 7 days without a single issue. The PH was stable at 5.9 in the res for all 7 days. Zero drift. My plants are healthy and happy, I'm able to hold a reservoir all week long without it going bad, and I'm not beating my head against the wall anymore constantly dumping reservoirs. I would encourage anyone trying to find a better quality fertilizer to check out Jack's. It's pretty dope. I paid $58 with sales tax for 25# shipped to my front door. My last order of maxi bloom was 16# for $92. I paid almost twice as much for almost half as much Maxi as Jack's and had nothing but headaches as my reward for the extra expense. I switched to maxi because I thought I was missing out on something with the "cannabis specific fertilizers" and wanted to see if my yield increased dramatically. It was nothing but a huge waste of time, money, and RO water. I'm sticking with Jack's. Anyhow, that's my story and I'm sticking to it :)

I just stopped in there last week, now they make you order online to get the best prices. I got to the register and things was way overpriced. So if you're driving there, order online before you go to pick it up.
That's bat shit crazy. I'd just order online and let them eat a dick on the shipping costs then. Bring it to the store manager's attention next time you're in. It could just be a simple pricing error they are unaware of. I can't think of any logical reason for them to do such a thing. There's another company called growgen that quotes ridiculously low prices on their website, but when you try to ship the item you're ordering they butcher you to pieces on shipping. I'm talking like $30 to ship an inline fan. It's just a bait and switch tactic. Sucker you to their website with low prices via google shopping etc. Then when you find what you were looking for and go to checkout after entering all your personal information they fuck you hard on shipping to make off of your sale exactly what they want to. Not the price you originally thought they were going to honor which is the only reason why you wound up at their shitty web site to begin with. Growgen bought out grand rapids hydroponics. I thought I'd just place my order for pickup and Growgen would be my go to source for grow gear moving forward due to their rock bottom prices. They do NOT honor "online" prices for in store pickup. That's some unethical marketing bullshit I thought we left in the 90's, but here we are. 2021 and Growgen is fucking people like it's the 90's allover again. I'll never order anything from those greasy cocksuckers and I will never visit their store for a single purchase.

What grow green is doing doesn't make much sense. Ask a manager next time you're in, "Why is it more expensive to walk into your store and buy something than it is for you guys to ship it?" I'm interested to know what answer they give you. If you get a dumbfounded stare back at you they probably haven't a fucking clue it's even happening :)

Jack's is great stuff. It has been my go to for all of my plants (non-cannabis) for years. Cheap and dependable.

The lady said to me, "the dank deals are only available online." In the past they search the item up on their website and matched the price, if I wasn't in a rush that day I would have ask more questions.

That's just buh-nanners. At least they are willing to adjust the price when you called them out on it. Growgen just tells their customers tough shit. It's easy to make grow green the first choice for supplies. They are consistently 10-25% cheaper than their biggest competitors. And many items they also throw in free shipping that makes the final price so attractive I have to do a double take at the checkout
wondering if I goofed something up on my order. Nope. I'm just shocked by fair and reasonable pricing. That's the good kind of shocking, and why I keep buying from grow green.

jacks is stable, but i find my water isn't stable so it takes like 1-2days of PH correcting the water to 5.8 for it to stay stable, probably because the chlorine dissipating and what not

Thats more likely due to calcium hardness in your water. Mine is the same way. Chlorine at the PPM levels we use doesnt change PH to any significant degree.

Nice yeah I think mines semi hard in that stuff; probably a reason why running osmosis would be sweet; but I'd have to turn it into a whole house osmosis lol

Good to see you have come over from the dark side ;)
Let me just tell you how fantastic the change has been. I've been harvesting for 2 weeks now. My back hurts. My wife and I are cranky. Since switching to jack's amidst this incredibly busy, chaotic, and stressful period of time my job of maintaining my plants in the nurseries has been made considerably easier now that I can hold a 32 gallon reservoir for 7 days without a problem. The PH stays stable for all 7 days at 5.8 and requires no further adjustment. With general hydroponic's maxi series I was unable to hold a reservoir at all. That means while harvesting I had to weigh and mix 3 separate dry fertilizers and then adjust the PH every single day. That doesn't seem like a big deal. Let me assure you - it is. It takes time and energy. 2 things no gardener has an abundance of during harvest time. With maxi I was having to dump, clean, refill, weigh more fertilizer, then PH adjust again every 2 days. It was pure insanity not to mention a considerable waste of time and energy. Those terrible days are over! Jack's is stable. My veg plants have never looked healthier. And the tasks of maintaining the garden have become much easier not to mention the reduced stress level. I will never switch to another brand. Jack's is professional grade fertilizer and that's exactly how it performs. Stable, soluble, affordable, and reliable. I'll post pics of my nursery plants later after being on jack's for about 2 weeks. The growth is lush and green. I can't wait to show y'all :)

Beautiful babies!!

P.S. Please tell me you are NOT putting any of that black tar crap in with the Jacks? ;)
Thanks dude. I stopped using the floralicous plus when I started using Jack's. I don't believe I'll ever use another GH product in my graden again. Jack's has everything the plants need. There's no reason to mess with a perfect formula.
