New ballast

Howdy y'all!
I have an old Apollo Horticultural 400W HPS/MH ballast for an air-cooled hood... there's nothing wrong with it, but I would like to step up to a ballast that doesn't cause any interference...
I know the technology is old (I have three Timber systems), but I am really liking the results I got with the combo of COB's and HPS I got this past round, so I want to step up my ballast to one that doesn't cause any interference...
Anyone have any recommendations? I'm cool with sticking with a 400 watt ballast...

I am a trump supporter, and I support our country, it's Constitution and Bill of Rights. Those people that "busted" into the capitol were let in and some were special forces. What does that political nonsense have to do with the thread? The OP asked about ballast's, not political affiliations of posters nor comments about political views of Americans by us Canadians? There is a politics section for such things if you really have an urge to bring that stuff to a pot growing site.

I read, somewhere, it's the cable that needs to be shielded...
To be honest, I truly don't know if mine is magnetic or digital, but what can/should I do with my 2015-2016 Apollo ballast to not get interference?
If it's the actual ballast, how would I shield it? What do I shield it with? I heard copper and/or braided stainless steel?

All is good with me! I am not mad at anyone here! I love growing! Lol!
I do have strong political views as well, but I don't wear them on my sleave... or on the screen...

It's all good. There is a section for that type of stuff so those who want to spew venom have a place to go. The rest of us are here for the growing. If you do venture into that cesspool do yourself a favor, wear a cup.
