Help with trimming process

First time grower here, I have 3 plants all day 60F as of today and I see amber coming in on the sugar leaves. I Plan on harvesting in 5-7 days. I just was wondering if I should do a wet or dry trim? Thank you all!

That absolutely depends on your drying environment.

Where will you be drying your weed?

Also I doubt those are actually done in another week.

That's a high temp. What humidity?

Always trim wet if you plan on processing your sugar leaves. Trimming dry is fine if you do it over a glass table so you can coke scrape the ejected trichomes into a pile, but I've always found trimming wet to be the best way to keep trichomes ejection to a minimum

That's all fine and well but your ignoring his drying environment. His temps are 75 degrees that already making me lean to dry trim. Wet trimming hes cutting too much moisture and subsequent time to have a proper dry time at 75 degrees

So my tent has the ducting leading to outside and I live in Vegas. Our temps are so random so I was planning on just leaving the ducting ventilation inside for the drying process to keep it around 75. but if I were to dry them with the ducting leading outside my temps would maybe range in the high 60s to low 70s. My humidity ranges from 45 to 55.

Too fast of a dry you will destroy your work.

See if you can get that temp down a bit more and rh up.

Those won't be ready in a week.

Going into week 9. I don’t see them going over 10-11 weeks.

Trichomes are extremely small. So, I wanted to ask you a couple of questions:

1) Are you viewing the trichomes with a jeweler's loupe, microscope, or something similar? It's not a "naked eye" thing.
2) Are you checking the trichomes on the actual buds themselves? Often times, the trichomes on the sugar leaves mature faster than the buds.

Jewelers loope and yes I’m guesstimating 1-2 weeks max. I’m just going off if the amber comes in fast or not

Till it is done. It takes differing times even with clones. But mostly by strain.

I'll give a few pics as example.

13 week GGfaux.

16 week Snow Temple.

Neither are truly to my liking. More time needed.

Yes trichomes, I’m willing to take however long the plant needs. The reason for the guesstimate was because I saw Amber trichomes coming in on some of the sugar leaves close to the buds.
