He can't blanket pardon himself or anyone else for crimes he hasn't been charged with.
And after yesterday I don't think Pence is a loyal soldier anymore.

Trump should do it. He makes a deal with Pence to resign and get a pardon. It would work for him and no one could touch him. Just like Nixon.

The rioters received token resistance from police, who quickly stood back at one location.

It would have been the rioters’ wet-dream to have found stormtroopers waiting for them....
