Ive had the light for about a month now , its really easy you just get a small screwdriver , you stick some tape to it aiming at the number for example 100 and then you rotate so you can see where the tape is lol this is some prehistoric way to do it but it works ! I saw that video with the volt meter , i might get one in the future but my way works well too ! Of course maybe not as accurate but its fine for me , in the end they’re going back to 100% so its fine ! I use an extractor fan , its a bit noisy and i have my tent in the hallway , so when i close my bedroom door i dont hear anything ! I suggest you get a better fan for extraction , i use pc fans to cool lights sometimes but thats it ! You’re going to have to use a carbon filter later on , and pc fans wont have enough power to push through the filter

just sticking this in here from the article: 'There are 2 types of fan which you may recognise as a generic 'PC Fan' unless your are already aware of the difference and how to spot it....
There are:
1. True PC fans which are specifically for use in PCs. They are designed with Operational db level as their first and foremost priority, followed by there capability to move a set volume of air per/min generally labeled in 'cfm'. They are not designed to be efficient at working under positive or negative pressures as PCs are designed with unrestricted airflow in mind, they are most commonly designed to run in tandem (ie. a fan pushing air into the PC and another pulling air out of the PC )
A typical 120mm PC fan will average around 80 cfm with no restrictions,

2. An 'Axial fan' or 'Axial Chassis Fan' which looks identical to a generic old skool PC Fan! These however are of much higher power than a PC Fan, run faster, are capable of creating a higher positive pressure (the ability to force air through a restriction such as a filter[/]) the down side to this is there noise or db level when running which is much higher than a PC fan.... if you put one of these in a pc you will know about it! lol '

Mars hydro ts1000 is a good light. I’ve used two before in a 4x4 and had great results.

Know anything about Higrow lights?

in a 4 x 4 you need more than 2 X mars 1000...300 watts will not cut it if you want to yield it out.

Get 2 X 240 watt boards and you will do A LOT Better...and it is real.

Samsung chips...holy crap look it up they are EVERYWHERE.

Cobs are still rocking too....I love my citi 1212s and my veros. I would never buy another mars light again as long as i live. I use 1 for a veg light because it throws out so much heat it can sprout seeds...And i am replacing it soon. Try as i might i hate it.

Hate to ask but after searching im seeing two different opinions. If i keep my ts600&1000 and tent cool can i put my lights closer? My ssh clone is 10" from the 1000 and og kusk is like 8" away from 600(alot of lst on the kush). Pic ssh like 7-8 days 12/12.

You'll likely not get the results you would with HPS or CMH. But if you're trying to save money it will grow a plant, maybe two.

I just pulled 6 ounces out of a 2x2x4 scrog with a ts1000 and it was my first grow. I will easily get a half pound next grow. He will get great results, don't discourage him.

Most powerful light i have ever used! Even better than hps lights. I have used many leds and hps setups in the past in either grow tents or grow rooms, but honestly this light beats them all.

Pulled 300gr (10.5 oz) out of a 2x2grow with the tsw2000, soil and scrog.

Nice. I just bought a tsw2000 for my 2x2 lol what setting did you get it up to? I'm at 50% and just flipped my bubblegum plant. I have drivers mounted outside, and the light basically as high as it will go. I'll raise it 5% a week or some shit?

Good choice ! At first, i was afraid it might not fit lol , if you go back a couple pages in this thread you’ll see i asked the question if someone had ever got the tsw2000 for a 2x2... no one replied at the time so just went for it and would not regret at all !

I flipped my SSH 10 days ago too (this is my 2nd grow with the tsw2000).

What you wanna do is start the grow at 25%, when the plant’s in full veg you can switch it to 50%, a couple days before the 12/12 switch turn it up to 75%, then when the stretch is over and the plant’s in full bloom bump it all the way to 100%.

Regarding the height, in my last grow i have noticed that some of the top of the buds got a bit dry because of the light, so i will give you the best numbers based on my experience:

Seedling 75cm above the plant
Early veg 60cm
Mid veg 50cm
Late veg 45cm
Stretch period 40cm
Beginning of bloom 35cm

I also have a ts1000, on a tent with 4x4, but I only put 4 plant and cover something like 3x3. It is on the 4 week of flowering. It's my first grow. And I order a tsw2000 to upgrade hopefully today I will install it

And the bud grow a lot in few days. And the leaves start to stretch up
