Made some adjustments to my setup for easier resivoir changes...added external recirculation pump. Everything going smoothly! This time I'm using SOG...any tips? Not too sure when or how to go about defoliation.

Ur using scrog not sog, autocorrect?

Nope...I was confused. Thanks for pointing that out! I'm growing autoflower plants. These are 25 days from sprout (3.5 weeks or so). I'm used to LST... But don't know much about scrog other than what I've read. This is my second deep water culture attempt. My first plans grew so fast that I couldn't even hold them up. the branches started to break in on themselves and there was nothing I could do to salvage them. Ended up harvesting a few weeks early and made bubble hash out of all that. Anyway hoping to get some nice results this time around. should I just continue to let these badge until they start poking through the netting? Then send them through the openings in The netting like you would for LST?

I wouldn't know, I don't use net for lst use wires. How do u usually lst?

Never done scrog myself so not really the person to ask. But if those were my plants, I would bend them over to fill up the canopy evenly easier and further lst using the scrog net.

Ok... Let me ask you... Exactly when do you start LST? I'm presently at 3.5 weeks from (NOW)?

If ur problem was they growing to fast last time, I would start now. Just to get a head start. Bending it a little bit over to expose lower leaves. If u start early like now u can just do it in a slow pace with lower risk of breaking/hurting branches. U will right at the bat get a much more even canopy cause of the reduced height.

Don't LST too much with auto flowers.
Usually you wouldn't scrog either. The veg time is too short
