Etifoxine?

So here's the deal, I have bad anxiety, and the normal stuff to use just won't cut it. Cannabis just doesn't really work for my anxiety, and sometimes can raise it for like the first hour. Benzos and alcohol I cant take either because I had a problem with liking how well they worked aka addiction . So now I'm back to the drawing board looking for an alternative that won't have you in seizures when your trying to come off, and won't increase tolerance like crazy. So through my research I found this chemical, etifoxine. It seems promising actually. Some mixed reviews on how well it works compared to benzos, but then again I wander if some of the people writing reviews are taking other gaba drugs that is throwing off the true affect of the drug. Have been clean from gaba drugs for a year now, but looking at my options if any. My conclusion is that this drug is 100% non addictive, but I wander what is an equivalent dose to Ativan since its supposed to substitute for that. I was on 1.25mg of Ativan when I started, and 6mg of Ativan a day when I ended a year ago . There seems to be no conversion chart really. Anybody have experience with this compound? Especially long time use, as well as those like me who refrain from other gaba drugs. I just ordered it, so im hoping I found a tool that can be used to make me feel more comfortable without the bad side affects.

I would first try to combine Aniracetam and Cannabis. It's a pretty good mix of you want to completely to eradicate any paranoia or anxiety caused by using Cannabis by itself.

I would also try adding magnesium glycinate to your supplement regiment, at least 1500mg a day. And something containing Choline.

Either Sunflower Lecithin or things like Alpha GPC and CDP-Choline. A good dose of omega 3 is more important than people think. I eat about 4000mg a day, 2000mg at lunch and 2000mg at dinner.

Zink picolinate once a day in combination with vitamin D at least 4000iu a day for androgen support.

If you don't have your nutrition in order Cannabis will work against you. I'm a culprint of this with really high metabolism. My body eats itself if I don't stay ahead of things.

I don't know that much about etifoxine other than it being gabaergic, that class of drugs are most likely addictive but doesn't have to be. Think I remember it being available at nootropic supplement stores online. It's pretty addictive if I remember correctly, I may be wrong.

Hope everything heads for the better and I wish you all the luck. Cheers!

It has a side affect of causing anxiety for that supplement you just gave.
I don't know, what supplement are you referring to here bud? We are all different human beings with different genetic make up.

People have adverse effects to practically everything, because there's a lot of people with a wide range of gene expression. You will not find a replacement for bensos. The solution is to constantly better your way of living.

That involves optimizing your nutrition by learning what your body actually tolerate and not. It's very forgiving optimizing your eating habits and nutrition, you learn so much about yourself. Try to see your body as a vehicle and a tool for learning. Discipline and setting achievable short term goals is also very important.

Drugs just mask the issue.

Have you ever looked into other approaches like meditation, therapy, etc?? Im sure in this day and age there are numerous other options to try before more drugs no?

Just trying to help

I have done counseling for years. I really dont see much more options than stupid breathing exercises that are worthless. This is one of my only hopes to getting a drug that gives me the benzos positive affects without the negative affects. It just seems a little shaky. Some say it works great, others say not so much. It could be they are using other gaba drugs tho. I haven't drank or done pills like I said in almost a year, so my brain shouldn't have any tolerance. Try telling a person there is more options than depression pills, they probably will end up dead. My point is we need to create alternatives for people with anxiety that won't give them a nasty addiction. This drug seems very promising in that regards. Kratom works fairly well, just is expensive, an opiate, and addictive. So im looking for an alternative that atleast provides some relief without tolerance and withdrawals. Some times drugs are needed to fix an issue, I just have to be careful which ones I take. If this doesn't help, then its back to the drawing board. Who knows mabe there is nothing out there then I will just live my life locked away in my home because that is a life right there.
