Dark Room 150........

Just set up a Dark Room 150 wich is about 5ft x 5ft x 6'6. I hooked up a 6inch inline fan and carbon filter that drains outside threw a drier vent. For lighting I'm using 2 400watt hps wich seems to be plenty bright. I have a 4 x 4 ebb tray in it with 20 plants on a 12-12 cycle. I have to say the tent is really great. It is well thought out in its design with lots of vents and a durable construction. I would tell anyone who has the room and the funds to pick one up. It really makes life easy.

I keep my vegging mothers in a DR150... It's an awesome tent, takes 5 minutes to put together, and 5 minutes to break down. It's an excellent way to keep my mother plants on an 18 hours cycle, and not disturb my flowering plants in the tray 2 feet away.

I've gotta back up Discolexic on the testimonial... Secret Jardin makes the BEST grow tents.

does it have 2 zips or only 1 ?

cuz i want the 2 zip one.. thats why i am chosing the 240x120x200 box... otherwise i would go for the 150x150x200 ..... Actually wait a fucking minute...



1.5x1.5 = 2.25 square meters.... and the 2.4x 1.2 = 2.88 square meters..

hmmm the price is way much more aswell.. 200 dollars more for the 240x120x200

i am so cunfused i hate buying stuff online ! i want a car to go see them all :S

could ya post a pic of ya box dude ?

That's the DR300... The DR150 has 1 door, and 3 window flaps for access... The DR300 has two large doors and is around 10 feet by 10 feet.

cuz i just said its 240x120 how can it be 10feet by 10feet :D ? :D ?

i do have to disagree with you guys on this one. i have the dr240wide, and i think its a piece of shit. the socks are sewn horribly, and it has like 500 pin-holes all over the place. the poles are kinda weak too. im going to try the Homebox for my next tent. iv heard the quality is much better.

Bagle, it really could be the tent you got... I would return it because my tent has 0 pin holes, stitching its done well (there was a little of excess vent screen that was peeking past the stitches but I could just pull it out)... I would call and see bout a return...

Yes my m8, gave me a smack around my head.. i was like u twit.... why ? for what... he's like cuz darkroom sucks man !

i was like yeah right, he has got homebox's aswell.. says he can do way much more.. and if ya scared of the infrared shit, rofl.. its only a sheet to make infrared rays not get in to the box, doesnt mean it wont show up as hot on the radars.. <-- this is what i thought :o hahah ^^



ey, i am gona buy a homebox ;)

i wish i could return it bro. its been a couple of months already and its had some heavy use. but i did a lot of reading around, and it seems many people have the same problems as me. check out this thread. link.

if you want me to save you some time, its basically a bunch of people who are pissed off about their DR, and at the very end of the thread is where we all come to the conclusion that the only tent without problems is the HomeBox.

haha, i was just looking through the thread that i linked to, and you are in it GT. you are defending the DR. so i guess i dont need to give you the link in the first place. anyways, im glad you got a good one. i think their quality control is the real problem here. iv heard of some people who think the DR is the absolute best tent out there, and then many (like me) who think its shit for the money. i guess it all comes down to a roll of the dice with the DR, either you score big or you get fucked.

i mean... I purchased the tent to put through a full grow cycle before deciding if it was the right choice... and I probably would've returned it, but it exceeded my standards so I kept it as a veg tent rather than replacing it with an alternative.
