I’m using an aeroponic system next grow. Thoughts?

I'm still in early veg for my 2nd grow. I will be using Aeroponics for my 3rd grow. I'm just planning ahead. This is a rough draft. No parts bought yet.
I will be growing 4 plants in 3 gallon pots.

Reservoir size?

They can grow super fast in veg with aero, but things can go bad really really quickly, as I learned on my last grow just a few weeks ago. But I was playing with a nutriculture, with a 100 liter res below and 8 mist nozzles above. Improper mixing of silica did me in! Back to soil for me for now....But MY next "water" experiment is going to be a flood and drain table, I do believe.

So your not going to put a reservoir in to pump into the buckets? Or simply a pump per bucket I’m guessing I’m slightly confused about your setup here.

Flood and drain is nice. I flood my tables let them sit then drain them out.

so your going to run out of water and burn up some pumps. Later in veg and flower they drink hard and 5 gallons ain’t much.

What are you doing currently? You could do like a little undercurrent setup.

3 plants manifold and 2 plants topped using soil. whats an undercurrent setup?

Just go to coco. You get the benefits of hydro with some of the securities of soil.

Hydro is more of a pain in the ass to move than soil or coco honestly

a 2 x 4 flood & drain table would be better than what you are proposing I believe....a lot more secure, and you'd have the ability to move them around, plus things can't go bad as quickly as with aero. But 2 decent size plants in say 7 or 10 gallon pots of soil with a scrog will fill your 2 x 4 tent with the least hassle! Perfect way to go til you get everything else zeroed in, like strain, temps, etc.

Thats DWC, Ive used it, big yield.
But I switched to coco, simpler.
I like simple.

I mean if you want to reduce the grow time the only thing it’ll effect is veg time by a week. flower time won’t change.

What kind of system? HPA, LPA or AA? That looks more like LPA or Fogponics to me.. A little bit small containers for Aero to be honest, should be at least 8gallons IMO.

Insulating the chambers is very important. Try to locate the reservoir as far away from the grow room as possible.
