I see those all the time being hauled around up in Saginaw, MI. I believe those blades are 210 feet long. The back of that trailer that the blade is on is steered remotely from a pilot car that's following the truck. You should see those guys going around a turn, it takes some skills and serious coordination with the pilot car driverI’m thinking this can be posted here.
A few days ago near Tehachapi I saw a large turbine blade being hauled by a specialist heavy truck.
Shipping wind turbines is not a breeze
It takes a year of advance planning and up to 10 loads to move a single monster turbine.www.google.com
