Reservoir - how cold is too cold?

I figured you hydro guys (DWC) would know about water temps as it is so critical for you. I know lower temps have higher O2, like 68 is ideal I believe. But if you get much lower like in the high 50s will that cause stress to the plant?

62F is what i remember being the lowest you want to go.

I believe what it is, is water does hold more DO as it gets colder, but you get to a point you slow the metabolism of the plant.
I'd agree no lower than 62.
68 is perfect, only reason I see to change that is if you are late flower and want to "fade" your plants. Cold rez can help bring out those colors

Yeah, cold rez, cold room, no nutes. Brings out some great color for bag appeal

Too cool will really slow growth and limit phosphorous uptake.
