Can anyone help me out here as I can’t seem to get my head around it ...

I bought myself two Marshydro ts1000 which I’ve recently found out are only actually 150w !!
Now I’m going to replace them with some viperspectra lights ( I think ) can anyone tell me which I would be needing to achieve around 900w of actually output ? Thankyou .
Tent size
Is 8x4

Viper are very similar to mars

It's the actual watts at the wall that tells you what they are

So for 900w your still looking at 5-6 lights

What's your budget, some QB lights would be better

There is no such thing as equivalency. That is a gimmick.
Look at the input wattage of the unit, thats what u get.
Andu also get what u pay for with LED. If u buy a cheap light off amazon u will get sub-par results

Not really got a budget in mind to be honest ? I’m not happy with my results this time around with the crap 150w output Mars hydro .... so I’m just after something with some
Decent kick ! I’ve been told I need around 900w for my size area.

Three Vipar XS 2000 will give you 720w from the wall . $240 each but I think I have codes.
Otherwise look into DIY w/ samsung strips and Meanwell/Delta drivers. Fun and somewhat easy to do.
HLG is always a go to as well , stated above.
