What Should I Do?

Ok to cut a long story short i made an order on the web and just after i got confirmation of buying grow eq and more, i started to germinate my seeds. Any a few days ago my order got delayed by a week (because of stock) and by then one of my seeds was completly germinated, it had a inch long tail or so.

So i thought i better do something so i went into garden in a desprate attempt and got some soaking wet used crappy plant soil that already had the orginal plant roots + worms all over it. Then i made a pot out of a empty bottle, then grabbed a curboard box and covered the inside in tin foil. I then carefully transfered the plant into a crappy soil mix and had to use a shitty halogen light (yes i know halogen wont do anything good for my plant) 40 watts and set it up next to the sprouted seedling on 18 hours a day.

Anyway i returned 2 days later and it has popped up from the soil and some leaves are appearing? though its curling a bit, its actually growing?

So what should i do carry on or ditch the plant, wait for grow eq and re-germinate some more seeds?

sorry it was so long but i wanted to explain in some detail. thanks.

carry on grow it in a cool room to slow down the growth a little if you want, me I wouldn't do anything different, your just going to have one plant bigger than the others. You could top it down to the same height as the new ones if you find it's size is a problem. If your order really gets delayed then you could use it for a clone mother. maybe it's a male and it won't even matter. Oh and get a 6500 compact florescent bulb ASAP for it otherwise it will stretch like crazy.

Yeah you guys are right, i will continue in veg state at low temp and see how it goes. Im using a very small tooth pick just so that it stands a bit straighter because its curling down a bit.

Would it be possible to transfer the plant over to the a new soil when my new soil mix turns up in a few days? because the crappy soil at the moment has leaves, pebbles, left over roots and i think some baby worms :-?!

are you serious? anyways why didnt u just take your time to get some good soil and a single cfl instead of using shitting equipment? not cause the tail is an inch long that you have to hurry and use shit to grow it. I think you should transplant into real soil and put it in your grow room if you have one, if you dont just get a cfl until you build one

It can be done if your gentle, but it's probably better if you just wait crappy soil means less growth, that's all, sort of what your after anyways. Just get that better light on it. (worms are good BTW)

only thing crappy about that soil is the roots... worms are good for soil... they help keep it loose =) but its definatly not the best of soil by any means haha

Yes old roots start to rot and can make new roots rot so thats not good, it is probably turning down cuz of the heat the halogen is putting off, get the cool white cfls like the other guys said.

Yeah i agree, as soon as i have my bio bizz soil mix, i will very carefully transport he/she over. Yes i now have confirmation that my order will arrive here on mon/tue, so i will be able to get the cfl's on it soon....

Luckily i managed to get rid of 80% of the old roots from the other flower pot. So apart from that its just a bit mucky, but its doing well.

True the halogen is bringing some heat to the plant, though i have stored it in a coolish place with some good air flow and ventalation, so not alot of hot air heat is circulating the storage area.
