Outdoor grow 2021

I’m planning to try to grow a big outdoor plant in 2021. I bought this garden cart to use around the house, and I think I’m going to put my 15 gal pot in this cart so I can easily move it wherever, and whenever I want, like if it’s getting ready to storm I’ll just pull it into the garage. Anyone else do this? Going to try a Gold Leaf from ILGM. looking forward to it.

You might want to think about a bigger pot. I did a 100 gal last year and she was nearly root bound by the end

It will work. There was a post awhile back of someone that had their plants on a trailer they could put into the garage. Can't remember who it was.

Just be sure to train the heck out of them. lol I would hate to hear about someone forgetting how tall they got and trying to back it into the garage. Ouch!

I do my outdoors in 15gal, I’ve had them on caster carts and rolled them in the side door a couple times. They usually do best though when you let them sit in one spot and not move them

I live in the country and no one ever comes here. Well off the road, and behind a privacy fence. All good there.

My plants were average sized until I started planting in the ground. When the plants roots are confined the size is also. Also start inside in April and put the girls out in May. Of course the stain is a huge factor in the size of the plant. My favorite Indica (Mango Sapphire) is never going to get big no matter what you do. Good luck!

Yeah, that’s my plan. Start mid April indoors, and out in May. I think I’m going to try an ILGM Gold Leaf.

Looks good, but you won’t get jack squat in a 15 gallon.
If you’re growing from seed, I’d start in March. Get it trained to 4 stems. Get it nice and flat and hardened up. Plant it at later half of May. Top it a few more times. Put your trellis up, whatever it is you do and you’ll be good.

If you’re growing from seed, I’d start in March. Get it trained to 4 stems. Get it nice and flat and hardened up. Plant it at later half of May. Top it a few more times. Put your trellis up, whatever it is you do and you’ll be good.

March it is. That sounds like a reasonable plan.

If it’s a “big” plant in a 15 gallon pot you’ll have be managing the watering and nutrients carefully.

That’s what I think too. I have a Facebook friend in MA who never grew before that with a little advice grew some monsters in 10 gallon pots, so I think I’ll come out ok with a 15 gallon. I want to be able to lift it out of the cart if I want to use the cart for something else.

Hunting for a few, but I’ll likely grow sexed out seedlings of likely good performers for outdoor, based on genetics. It’s just not realistic to hunt indoor for outdoor winners, flower times and trigger times are different animals. If I’m rolling the dice I’ll take a seed plant any day.

15 won’t cut it.

you shouldn’t move your plant.

you will need supplemental lighting to make up for the short days

I'm going with 100gal fabric pots living organic soil guerilla style outdoor this yr, already have the location secure... Setting up my irrigation barrels that are camo and hidden from the air.... Using a pump to fill my reseviors to keep foot traffic down... Good luck!
