You don't think people on the site have ever been in week 4 of flower under HPS before. You are borderline calling the OP a shit grower and thats not very nice. Now refrain and start acting like an adult please.

You're the one calling the OP a liar. I did not imply anything about the skill of the OP, and I would be very interested if you could point out to me (in DMs, don't want to derail the thread) where I have behaved in an immature manner?

So the op started a side by side thread I mentioned what i saw and because its not what you or the op wanted to hear, you now label what I'm saying trolling? If we cant openly discuss then why have a discussion thread? I never said the LED plants looked terrible, I said I thought the HPS side of things looked beyond awesome. And thats why you 2 are freaked out. Correct or no?

I don't care what a nice plant is grown under, and I thought you complimenting his plants was a good thing. I did label your assertion that I'm not behaving as an adult, and your assertion that I implied the OP was a "shit grower" as either trolling or a mistake. Now, can we stay on subject?

Damn those LED/cobs are kicking the HPS ass, I'm glad I started with cobs. The HPS side looks good too, but the LED side will easily beat it in wight and they look phenomenal.

HPS side looks better as a whole...alot better...the led side is further along in maturity...which is a plus if that matters...but the plants...bud sites...bud structure...looks slot better on the HPS side


Good looking grow either way

I've always gotten better buds from my plants that are under HPS than the ones under led

Lol there are alot more bud sites on the LED side they just arnt as spread out like with the HPS. He's going to get way more off the LED side plus the lower bud sites on the HPS side are tiny compared to the LED. And what type of LED did you run maybe they wernt of high quality. But I don't know how you think the HPS side is doing better all together? Can you list off all the stuff that makes it better to you? Because I don't know if it's just me but wouldn't you want more yeild? And it dosnt look like the HPS side will be more potent or more bag appeal it will just take a bit longer to finish then the LED side and with less bud sites that are more spaced out so less yeild.

The buds on the HPS side haven't even begun to fill out...they're not even starting to get red hairs yet...they'll get alot bigger and fill in...don't get me wrong new LEDs is where it's at...for all kinds of reasons

Oh yeah no doubt they will still fill out they still have weeks to go, but I guarantee it won't fill out as much as the LED. I've grown with good quality LEDs and I've been helping my friend with his grow for the last couple years and he uses HPS. With LEDs the node spacing is closer so you can usually get close to around 12" colas if you have your grow dialed in and have good strains, some just don't produce good. With LEDs you also get more penetration so lower nugs are bigger but an HPS has more coverage then LEDs. Either way you can get potent bud out of both. But talking yield if you were have 1000w of HPS and 1000w of High quality LEDs, the LEDs will beat the HPS every time.
