So two beautiful plants , from seed / soil-4 1/2weeks in veg , both grown in the same planter , transplanted to bigger 20 gallon, 18/6 . It came to no surprise that one has grown faster and bigger , trained them to grow apart also bottom leaves won’t be shadowed out.both healthy with pre-flowers , just the smaller of the two is behind its sister . The question is , should I pull this plant?I don’t see separating being an option without stressing the other . Is this going to to be more work than it’s worth? One is at 45cm one at 30cm any advice would be great

Most likely you will end up killing one anyway. They will compete for root space, tangle up in each other and one will be dominant while the other struggles.

There is a reason people don't suggest it.

This summer and the plants did not do well. Their roots touching stunted them i think and one plant did way worse compared to his brother. Bud development was dead slow

multiple plants is possible in a hempy bucket but there must be proper spacing between the plants

these are another members photos but he constantly is cropping this way, the water table at the bottom allows the roots direct access to nutrients so they don't have to compete with one another

I would do this with clones, as different phenos may need different balance of food

Sweet , good info . There definitely was no space between the two , and really it was an accident and figured I’d see how it would go . Seemed to have stunted them where they got root bound and had to be transplanted the first week of veg
