Some quick advice please?

So my gelato 41 is on day 81 of 12/12. The leaves on the buds are all changing color and now are curling and dying off. My trichomes don’t seem to be changing color much. Some buds seem like more cloudy heads than other buds. Should I just cut her now? I can’t post trichome pics because my microscope is tiny. But I have pics of the plant.

Part of me wants to wait longer, I just don’t want to risk nanners and she seems pretty done to me besides trichome color? Maybe I am tripping. I have seen very very few amber

What should I do if by day 90 my trichomes are still where they are?? Just call the grow quits?
I've not long cut down a crop, some were 86 days others were 88 and 90 days with milky trichs, idk if they would have turned amber but I wasn't wanting any longer, I might have waited a while longer if it wasn't costing me £25 a week.
90 days is just to long a flowering period for me.

I've always had good luck waiting an extra week when I think the plant is ready to chop, but not 100% sure. She's a lovely plant, but I'd give her another week while checking up on her each day. Great job on her!

Thanks, she doesn’t seem to want to mature much more, I’ve been checking trichs since day 70 and they seem the same!

Do some research to see if the trics of the strain you are growing amber. I grow a strain that usually finishes at 12 or 13 weeks with just cloudy and clear trichomes. Even if I run it a few weeks longer they still don't amber. There might be 1% amber with the rest a combination of cloudy and clear.

You can always chop half of the plant or a few buds now and continue growing it to learn what the difference is if you let it go another week or two.

Regardless it was a nice grow.

So I grew this strain before one other time, I believe it ran like 60 something days but I don’t recall how long. This was 3 years ago. I had 2 seeds from one bud I was smoking. I’ll let her go another week, but going to work every day smelling like some gas just isn’t working lol
