Golden Dragon Hash Tincture w/200 proof ethanol

Washed up some bubble hash yesterday. Waiting for it to dry. I'll be processing Golden Dragon Hash Tincture this Saturday according to the instructions laid out on the following thread: https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/dragon-lite-another-tincture-thread.1217451/page-3#entry18107762
I'm super stoked and can't wait to report results! I may wind up transferring the alcohol extract to glycerin or MCT oil. 200 proof alcohol is great for extraction, but a little rough to take orally and must be mixed with a drink.

I'll be using the magic butter machine tincture 8 hour setting for the cook process. This is the hash I'll be using. It's about 90 grams, but there's still moisture in it. I expect around 40g dry by Friday.

Just treat it like pga shine. Make it extra potent, then make you a few jars with different things mixed in.

I love apple pie shine.

I mean you always could let it evaporate or force some of the alcohol out, but most of those procedures aren't exactly the safest...

I would just make extra strong and cut it, then add to drinks, maybe make a little bottle with some nutmeg, cinnamon and simple syrup and add it to your coffee.

Beautiful picture! How thick is the oil when reduced? Is it thin enough to still draw it up into a liquid syringe? That looks like some fantastic very potent tincture oil my friend

I remember once I went down to a neighbors house a couple miles away and I was about 18-19 and getting a bag from the guy, he was a normal source for me, I helped him trim and grow some.
Anyways, I pulled into his driveway and the sheriffs car was there. My immediate thought was oh shit. Then he walks up to me (btw he had a still in his front yard filled with concrete as a decoration that the cops gave back to him because he had been caught so many times), he looks at me and is like hey bud, what do you want? I was like "man the cops are here". He laughed and said, "yeah, I'm influential and he wants my vote, don't worry about it" Long story short, he had the best apple pie shine. His blackberry brandy was kickass as well.

That story reminds me of why I love country folk. They're so much more simple than complicated city folk, and they know how to kick back and relax with the best of 'em. Never judgmental. Just decent people trying to get through the day. I've been a city dweller most of my life, but I had a good old country boy stop by a shop I was managing to service the fire extinguishers. Nice guy. We struck up conversation as he replaced a couple of our fire extinguishers that were due for service. He asks, "so whatchya gonna do with those old fire extinguishers?" Being A life long city dweller I didn't even understand the question. I said, "man I really don't know. Do you guys take them off our hands?" He smiles and says, "oh yeah, me and my neighbor like to set these babies up about 100 yards out and put a rifle round through 'em. Blows up a cloud 100 feet into the air." I've never fired a gun in my life, so this was pretty amusing for me and my partner I worked with. We talked a little more as he finished up the paperwork. He proceeds to tell us his sheriff's deputy neighbor and him like to get drunk and shoot guns all the time. One day he got a hold of some kinda high powered rifle that wasn't really "legal" to own and he's firing away rounds as he usually did making all sorts of racket. Sheriff's deputy comes over as he usually did after work, and says "can I have a look at that? Ya know you really aren't supposed to have this thing? Is it okay if I fire a few off?" Country folk are awesome people

I have used an air still to safely reclaim some of the ethanol, and then reuse it. This is done instead of just letting it evaporate into the air. It's very similar to a water distiller, but it operates on 375 Watts instead of 1200.

Love making double 00 caps - sugar free gummy alternative. QP of decarbed bud (sometime CBD/THC combo) per quart of MCT, 8hr at 160° in MB machine.

The tincture turned out great and tested at 24mg CBD/ml. Doesn't taste great but works well.

Was hoping to hear from Johnny too as he made the hash tincture but after saying it was drying no updates. Interested to see and get report because I make mine with plant matter but thinking to process it before next time.
