Like $559 everywhere, I'm guessing fake?

If it is fake with fake samsungs, I'd think Ebay would be on your side returning it. If it was a fake with samsung and meanwelI think I'd keep it.

What do you mean? Spider Farmer is a HLG copy. This is another copy, just a cheaper one.

This is what they're trying to copy.

But this is SUPPOSED to be an actual Spider Farmer brand, which is $250 more
Check this out. The MPN says SF4000, but that is the manufacturer's part number. So technically they can call it whatever they want.

Then look at Brand. UNBRANDED.

Another cheap knockoff. Buyer beware.

I've shopped on Ebay for 20 years, it never occurred to me you can just call it the identical part number as what you tried to copy.....duhhhhh

Where are you seeing spider farmer in that description?
Nowhere I guess, I just saw the MPN which is the same as the SpiderFarmer 4000

Lots of listing say spider farmer clone w/ better LEDs. What exactly in short is "wrong" with these clones-Even the spider farmer is a clone.

I'm wondering if there is a quality difference worth the extra $250. Analogy of-You don't need Snapon Tools, you can rebuild an engine with Harbor Freight Tools just fine!

If you think Harbor Freight tools compare to Snap-on then you're a lost cause, lol.

Reminds me of the time I was a young tech and decided that my craftsman ratchet was just as good as a snap on/matco.
You shouldn't be able to shear a 3/8" drive by hand but I managed too and the resulting torque slip resulted in me swiftly punching myself in the mouth with cheap Chinese alloy. Needless to say as I looked at my dental bill for cracking a molar the 90 dollar snap on ratchet wasn't looking like such a waste of money anymore.
My box is all usa made tools and the lack of downtime from tools breaking or rounded bolts makes all the difference.

Nothing wrong with buying a cheaper brand like sunex or cornwell but nobody likes the guy in the shop who won't shut up about his harbor freight lineup while he rummages thru your box for a ratchet with more than 12 teeth.

Hahaha. I wish I could laugh and love it at the same time, lol. I do have a cheap $50 air compressor I bought from Harbor Freight, but I don't expect it to last too long. It is a great place to get shit like nitrile gloves. But I sure wouldn't buy any hand tools there's though.

They are a perfect place to buy the tools people borrow from you :)

Lord no, I'm saying at the end the results are the same. If you fix a car for someone they don't give a shit what you used.

I've got a wall of toolboxes, I wish they were full of nothing but Snap-

I am/was a mechanic. Yes HFT are cheap compared to Snapon both in quality but more so the price.

Pros need Snapon, Home use get Gearwrench the new craftsman.
I'm not a professional MJ grower, that's why I'm wondering about the cheaper LEds...:D

Like @PadawanWarrior said about harbor freight there is a time and place for cheap. I'm by no means an expert in growing. I'm very inexperienced but if I'm gonna cheap out somewhere or cost cut on a grow I'll find other areas to do so. Lights, genetics and nutrients/media are probably the worst place to skimp as the loss in value of the grow will likely far exceed your savings. I got 2 sf2000s for my grow and to me this was the cheap option when it came to lights I can't imagine trusting all the work and anticipation to anything cheaper.
Skimp on buying off brand pots or a vivosun inline fan vs an ac infitiny but I wouldn't go skimping on the big 3 lights, genetics and media

One other thing OP. Those lights have no safety certification, something to keep in mind. It would produce a different result than my HLG I am sure, mine never did this.

Did you miss what @SwampYankee said. The end result was not the same, lol.
Ask me if I ever heard the end of that from the more experienced guys in the shop. Every week I'd stay in the shop when the tool trucks arrived because "snap on is a ripoff".
They definetly got a kick out of busting my balls for weeks after the fact.
To be fair harbor freight has its place for home tools and things you may use only a few times.
