First grow, opinions please :)

Hey guys (: this is my first grow. Wss skunk faminized/photoperiod. I've kept her 7.5 weeks in veg and since 4.5 weeks in flowering. All together 12weeks.
She is under 300 watts Led light, since 5th week of her life i have been feeding her with basic nutrients. Micro/grow/bloom. Since 3 weeks i stopped adding nutrients and just by every 4th.watering adding bloom nutrient mix with water.
I think that maybe already in 4.5 week of flowering it should be more on her. Size of buds. But maybe I'm just not being patient. I have read somewhere that it can take a little longer for some plants to start putting up the bud weight.
What do you guys think. Is it maybe slower strain? :peace:

some of the leave tips are curling over that indicates to me that it is nitrogen toxicity.. but not to worry, you are doing pretty good for your first time :)

Stop feeding nutrients. You have a nitrogen toxicity. Only plain water the next few waterings.
Also your genetics look kinda bad.

Wow yeah. Thank you for shitting on genetics of my plant without any knowledge what kind strain it is.. It's origin comes from 80's original skunk line.. It's not some mix or no idea.. And because it's my first grow. I'm pretty proud of myself. I am aware that she has nitrogen toxicity and I'm working on that. I stopped feeding her.

You posted pictures. The leaf structure looks really bad.

I would research mainlining for next grow. Itll really make your yeilds increase by 3-4 times. You gonna grow something for 5 months you might as well get a pile off it. I bet thatll really be good weed good ole skunk. Hope u cloned it!

As a new grower I would skip any HST and go with LST, get that down pat then explore various longer vegging HST methods personally.

Lol mainlining is topping a plant 3 times pretty much as easy as it gets. Its a weed it keeps growing then one can run into the mistakes in veg where the plant forgives you and recovers is my opinion.

Yeah, I know what mainlining is. For newbie growers as I said I would recommend LST instead of HST. Get used to training without topping techniques first, then diversify. LST produces great results without the stress and extra veg periods needed so for new growers it is a more forgiving way to start learning about training plants.

Ya i still dont see how cutting the top of a plant is hard sorry deff dont agree

Noone ever said it is hard. It is however a High-Stress-Training technique which does lead to more recovery time for the plant. When you have someone who hasn't grown much, or can't tell males apart from females, and is going to have 100 other questions, sometimes it is best to keep it as abbreviated as possible until you get more under your belt. Low-Stress-Training provides much of the same results without increased grow time, increased grow time can lead to additional problems with nutrient understandings or in soils with amendment understandings and a whole host of things. Noone is saying topping is hard or that it isn't beneficial. Just simply new growers are better off trying to get one plant quicker to flower and through harvest by lessening the amount of time they spend training it with high stress techniques. There are plenty of growers who with combinations of things like LST and SCROG output plenty of green. In terms of bringing a plant to full harvest then length of time can be an added degree of difficulty as well as it increases time for other issues to develop. However, not trying to hijack OP's thread with a topping/mainlining/LST/SOG/SCROG yield debate as that has nothing to do with anything they asked. Just telling the OP that if they try training techniques next time start with the things that are quickest with least stress to the plant until you get used to growing. Pretty simple concept.
