Gorilla growing and not going to make many trips. Are rabbits going to eat small plants, how small? Are deer going to munch? I don't want to come back in the fall and be bummed.

Look for Deer paths going through the woods and avoid them. The more you plant the more you reap. Accept you will prolly lose a few. As for rabbits wait and plant your plants after they have grown some. The will be high enough to survive rabbit attacks

Simple, if you go wild you have to think wild if rabbits venture into your patch dog poo, human urine works for a while, but a dead rabbit will work better and longer. As for Bison, that will be pretty much the same cows dont go near dead beasts and I think you'll find bison will be the same... trouble is droping a bison while it's in or near your patch, G'Luck with that lol. I've had prob's with rabbits, but on the whole they dont do much damage if you grow big plants. Use wire netting while if you plant your plants small or grow them in beds or pots you can tranplant later once they start to become woody at the base.

get some bared wire coil it so it is about a foot away from your plants clear all bottom leaeves off so that no pest can get at them peg it all way around each plant the worst that will happen is a rabbit wiil get caught in wire don't remove it the rest will stay away.i coil a foot around to about a foot high works for me
