Cheao press for a Newbie....

I have never pressed anything before....normally just use my trim for bubble hash and flower for J's and bowls. Not sure if a press is really my thing as I just am old school and prefer smoking a J before anything. So, for someone who don't want to invest in something that may never be used, is there any presses that wont break the bank but is good enough to actually work when needed?


*Note* It would be for small presses....nothing major.

Torch to heat the slug, I got a $10 one that goes in butane bottles, adjustability a must

Thanks. I'll check that press out. I never tried the curling iron though. I did buy a cheap $60 green handheld press a while back but I cannot get a return off it if my life depended on it.

I have a dabpress 3T, was $369, love it

Think the smallest is a 4T at like $419

Can do 5-7g squishes

If I find I like it, I am sure I'll invest but for something I may never use, I rather buy a few packs with the 300+. Just every now and then like to switch it up a bit. Thanks for the replies.

I did the flat iron, liked it, then got the slug33, loved the rosin so dropped the $400 on a press

For sure try it out

The GF dosent like rosin, so some won't cuz it's a different high for sure

How exactly does the flat iron work? Tell me because my wife has 1 id like to destroy.

I got her a new one for Xmas so this fits my life and curiosity

A couple of things.

1: that guy was painful to watch
2: that's alot of work for a little rosin
3: he's right. For the work and time invested doing it like this buying some rosin or an actual press is a much better option lmao.

Thats fair. Everything has its purpose.

I'd imagine if your a daily dabber this would get cumbersome.

I picked up this one and I am really enjoying it. Will do up to about 1/8th at a time which is more than enough for my personal use. Than I can dab it or mix it to make into vape pens.
