I think I see the confusion @Frank Nitty. They are wired in series! None of us paid enough attention to the photos you posted and conclusions were jumped to bc u mixed up the terminology. All is well you have them wired the right way.

The green wires connect the boards together, and you have a single red white pos/neg going back to the driver.

If it was running in parallel, each board would have its own white and red wire going to the driver directly, and no green wires connecting boards.

I stick with my original comment that those molex connectors are shitty and ive broken 2 or 3 myself.

So everyone made some mistakes, can we all roll some fat spliffs now and be friends again pls ;)
But he has the boards connected + to +. Did you not see that pic? That's where this debate began. It's in the post I linked to above.

will 2x or 3x qb288 rspec boards work on HLG-320-48ab driver? already have the drivers is why i'm asking, i realize they're not ideal, but could save $200...

So in order to have this light operating correctly I should change their position from rectangle to square??? The polarities don't match up if that's the case...

Random question:

What is everyone's current favorite "spectrum" or blend of lights? Whether it's a mix of leds, or leds and hids. And what if anything was the reasoning (spectrum, plant shape/size, warmth/ir, oils/uv, for example)?

I like CMH mixed with LED best, but right now I'm just running the LED's.

The LED's make them super dense, and the CMH has UV in it to increase the frost.

hlg-320-48ab puts out 50v max. So i'm asking.View attachment 4751985
Robincnn from HLG said in post #6047:
As per datasheet hlg-320-48a is 43 ~ 52V adjustable.
288 may max out at 100 watts or less at 52V
2x 288 may max out the hlg-320-48a . hlg-320-54a will work for sure.

I disagree with him about 2 boards maxing out 320 though, because the formula for watts is still volts x amps.
