Is this common? Purple in the trichomes?

Could be anthocyanins which can travel up the trichome. My last prev plant (French Cookies) was really high in anthocyanins which allowed me to make purple rosin. Idk though, looking at the rest of your flower I wouldn't suspect much anthocyanins.

I had some hints of purple in some of my trichs on a juicy fruit strain. This isn’t the best picture of it but you can see a hint of them in the lower right of the pic. I will say it’s a wonderful smoke so that bodes well.

Some strains produce purple trichs more than others. With many of them its a matter of night time temps or the difference between day and night temps. Colder nights and/or a bigger swing in temp makes for more purple. I think its cool.
