Brand New, Intake/Exhaust Question

Hello everyone

So I'm in the process of doing all my research and gathering materials needed for a 2'x2'x4' tent set up. I can find the answer to most of the questions that have come up in all these threads, but one thing I want to make sure of that I haven't seen yet.

I'm planning on running a 600w LED Grow Light, only 2 plants to start off in 3g fabric pots, I'm going to get the AC Infinity Cloudline S4 as an exhaust hooked up to a carbon filter all inside the tent. I'm also getting a humidifier and dehumidifier. I wanted to know, from everyone else's experience, did you need some type of intake fan? Is a couple of different sized fans pushing air around sufficient enough or will it get to hot inside the tent even with just an LED light? I don't want to splurge on this since it'll be about $500 or so once its said and done, but also want to make sure I do things properly and not completely ruin my first grow.

I'm always scared to do new stuff in fear of failing, but this is something I've wanted to do now for years and plan to learn from mistakes once I have the core functions down.

Thank you to anyone with input

Get the t6, it's the best option watt wise. And it can run a 4*4 easy if you upgrade.

On a small tent like 2*4 or 2*2, just having an exhaust is more than enough, just leave a vent below on opposite side open.

If smell is a problem, run your fan on a higher speed.

If smell is still a problem (shouldn't be if done correctly) run an active intake.

Don't buy a dehumidifier or a humidifier, you won't need it, buy a tower fan to run inside tent

See, this is why I'm glad I posted something before making these purchases. I want to go the LED route for monthly cost saving purposes, but what should I be looking for when looking them up?

For sure, its really not much more expensive too. As far as the smell, won't the carbon filter and t6 be enough to keep it contained? I've already researched proper way to attach the ducting, reading threads everyone's saying to put the fan closer to the filter and not have too many bends and turns.

The thing with LED is their upfront cost. If you do not invest wisely, it'll end up in a box collecting dust in the future.

Man for a 2*2 I run 11 strip lights rated for 22w each, on a 150w driver, never need to run at Max, it's a great grow, but idk if I would invest in diy for a 2*2 build, so I guess quantum board by hlg would be the best bet

Depending on the size of your exhaust holes on the tent, you can just draw the strings around the T6, and put the filter right on top, you wouldn't even need to run ducting, I always did that.

For sure, ill have to tinker with everything. Just wanted to get some ideas before messing up majorly before even starting. :dunce::dunce:
