Thinking of switching to something other than AN

Yes and you will not lose quality. Just get some Jacks or Masterblend and call it a day. Both will grow weed as good or better than overpriced cannabis specific nutrients.
Agreed... I'm going with jacks on my next one. Can't beat the price and flexibility.

I started with Foliage Pro in veg and then added Grow with it. Grow has a few more micros that FP doesn't.

Veg: per gallon of water (recipe for rooted clones only. Babies will be much lower.)
- 5ml Protekt
- 5ml of Grow
- 5 ml of FP

Flower:
(First 2 weeks)
Same as veg
(weeks 3 and 4)
Same as veg plus 2ml of Bloom. (Grow has plenty of P and K)
(week 5 and 6)
I subtract the FP and add another 2ml of Bloom
(week 7 and beyond)
Same as week 5 and 6 plus 2ml of Mag Pro

Last water will be plain water.

My leaves stay very green till the end and I like it like that. Much easier to correct any problems that might pop up the last 2 weeks :blsmoke:
which micros does grow have that foliage doesnt? i remember i checked a while back and theyre exactly identical besides the NPK

Finally a fellow DG user. I started using DG like 7 years ago because of Homebrewer. Originally used it in Promix but switched to straight coco.

It’s awesome stuff, the fact that I can go full cycle with 3 bottles that are only $40-50/gallon and extremely concentrated is why I haven’t switched. It’s crazy to me that people spend hundreds on nutrient lines that need tons of supplements and are so diluted they require 10+ml/gallon per bottle. I don’t even use 10ml/gallon with all my bottles combined.

What DG products and concentrations do you use?

I’ve been running 0.8-1 EC.

Veg:
- 2ml Protekt
- 3ml Foliage Pro

Flower:
(First 4 weeks)
- 2ml Protekt
- 1ml Foliage Pro
- 3ml Bloom

(Week 5+)
- 2ml Protekt
- 4-5ml Bloom
have you ran just foliage and silica from beginning to end of harvest? ive been doing that for the past 2 yrs.

ive never messed with dynagros bloom honestly but im down to try it in the middle of flower if theres a difference.

other thing i do is i stopped buying protekt and use GHs Silica now since its more concentrated and same price.

No I haven’t. I used to use Grow for veg and Bloom/Mag-Pro for flower but now I just use FP for veg and Bloom for flower. I’ve seen HomeBrewer say you can use FP for full cycle, I’m just concerned the N is a bit too high and P/K a bit too low towards the end of flower.

A bit more chlorine, cobalt and boron. Nothing that matters much really, but that's not why I use both in veg. I like how using both comes out to 4-3-3. My plants love it and it works great.

Homebrewer changed it up after his trial. You can look back at his posts and see. I also tried that method and hated it after 1 grow. To each his own I say :blsmoke:

Im going to get some bloom and put it head to head against my foliage tray and see if it changes anything this late in flower.

im about to be w5 in flower.

For my next run... i was actually thinking of starting it off with Bloom for the first 2 weeks then flipping back to foliage after w2 onwards cause thats what Jacks feed schedule recommends. They start off with their 1-3-2 nutrient then flip back to the 3-1-4 after 1-2 weeks.
