Thinking of switching to something other than AN

So for years I have used sensi coco formula and love the results. I am afraid to switch to another nutrient line as I get such great results. But as I've scaled up the cost is starting to add up. I use about a liter every 4-5 days. I couldn't find the sensi coco bloom today so had to buy connoisseur coco which was like 140 for 4 liters of each.

So I keep seeing a lot of stuff about dry nutes now and see a lot of people going to those. But I don't wanna lose quality. Do dry nutes have all the same things in them?

The best decision you’ve made.Run away from AN. Don’t look back. Lol. Can’t say I’ve ever used them so don’t really know. But my cheap powdered nutes do ok.

I've used a bunch of different nutrient lines over the years. All pretty much the same outcomes... I will admit advanced, when I used it about 7 years ago was good stuff just way way to expensive to justify running it especially on anything larger scale.

I'm now running Jacks and Calnit, no epson salt required. I run 3g Jacks, 2.5g Calnit and with my strains have never had to use epson. @ week 2.5 I add .5g of MKP and do a weekly drench of recharge. I do multifeeds with low ec in pure canna coco. As mentioned, I've tried a bunch of different nutes and this is the best nutrient regime for final product, ease of use and most importantly cost.

I love AN. It's the same price as GHE locally, just a lot easier since I don't have to measure or adjust anything lol. I had a bag of Mega Crop, but I didn't really like working with dry stuff. I guess if you're going through a liter every week (holy shit) then it gets kinda pricey.

I really like biobizz. I just use grow and root juice in veg and grow, bloom and Topmax in flower. Add some silica and calmag if needed and you should have good results.

I've tried several products and finally found one that fit my style and my water. Sometimes it's just that....................your style and your water source.

Once I started using Dyna-Gro with r/o water and Promix everything took off. I have never had a problem since.

No bugs/gnats
No major salt buildup after 9 weeks in flower while feeding EVERY watering.
Can feed them till the last day and everything still tastes great...............but I don't. I use plain water at least once before harvest.
No mold or mildew issues.

Simple for me may not be simple for others. It all depends on other elements :blsmoke:

I have used a lot of different brands and recipes. For the last couple years I have ran Masterblend(calnit+mag) from seedling to harvest. While other factors have changed, my plants have NEVER been better. And it's so easy for me.
I do add an acid and silica also so it's not 100% MB. I'm in coco
peace

Finally a fellow DG user. I started using DG like 7 years ago because of Homebrewer. Originally used it in Promix but switched to straight coco.

It’s awesome stuff, the fact that I can go full cycle with 3 bottles that are only $40-50/gallon and extremely concentrated is why I haven’t switched. It’s crazy to me that people spend hundreds on nutrient lines that need tons of supplements and are so diluted they require 10+ml/gallon per bottle. I don’t even use 10ml/gallon with all my bottles combined.

What DG products and concentrations do you use?

I’ve been running 0.8-1 EC.

I started with Foliage Pro in veg and then added Grow with it. Grow has a few more micros that FP doesn't.

Veg: per gallon of water (recipe for rooted clones only. Babies will be much lower.)
- 5ml Protekt
- 5ml of Grow
- 5 ml of FP

Flower:
(First 2 weeks)
Same as veg
(weeks 3 and 4)
Same as veg plus 2ml of Bloom. (Grow has plenty of P and K)
(week 5 and 6)
I subtract the FP and add another 2ml of Bloom
(week 7 and beyond)
Same as week 5 and 6 plus 2ml of Mag Pro

Last water will be plain water.

My leaves stay very green till the end and I like it like that. Much easier to correct any problems that might pop up the last 2 weeks :blsmoke:

Wow, are you in soil? How often do you feed?

That’s like 2EC in veg, my plants would fry lol.
