Help with temperature range

so I recently bought a portable air conditioner and a smart controller that connects to my phone. The controller lets me choose a climate trigger to switch the air con on automatically when the temp gets to high and off when it gets low. Unfortunately with the control I can’t set different triggers for lights on and lights off. Just the one set of triggers throughout the whole day.

So the question is, if I set the triggers to keep the environment inside the tent between 75f-83f, does it matter that there won’t be a huge variation in the lights on and lights out temps?
Any advice appreciated, thanks guys!

Forgot to mention I also have a dehumidifier which runs 24/7 and constantly raises the temperature. This means that even with the light off every couple hours the room reaches max temp for the trigger, turns the air con on until it gets cool. So the temps are constantly spiking from low to high through the day, is that bad?

It’s not ideal adjust your temps around 75 if possible, 72-79

I was originally going to set it around 72f but read that anything under 75f makes the enzymes not operate efficiently. I got that info from coco for cannabis which I was told on here had solid information, but in saying that, I don’t know what “enzymes operating efficiently” even means lol.
How come you recommend lower? Just for the lights out temp?

You shouldn't need a dehumidifier and air conditioner, the a/c pulls humidity from the air. Leave the temp triggers where they are, it just means when your lights are off the a/c will work less than when the lights are on. If you are still in veg, you shouldn't have issues with humidity.

I run the dehumidifier at the same time because the A/C only has a trigger for temperatures not for humidity. The A/C only runs for a few hours per day so it’s not really helping with humidity

Okay, but what is your humidity level? In veg, you want humidity from 50%-65% so be careful the humidity is not too low.

What kind of light do you have?

HPS is ok at 72-79
LED should be a touch warmer. Not sure of exact numbers.

I’m currently in week 3-4 of flower. The rH has been sitting at 50-65% which is a little high for my liking. I’m doing a scrog and have 2 clip on fans blowing on the canopy, a floor fan underneath, as well as 2x 4” in-line fans, one for intake and the other for extraction. Trying to control the rH in my area is a massive headache, so I’m trying to use all those fans as a way to mitigate for the high rH.
