Lights vs schedule with autos

Getting ready to pop some autos in the dirt. Ive read the respond best 18/6 under hps or led. My delima is i have florescent t5s in my 18/6 veg tent and 12/12 under my qb leds in flower tent. With what i have which direction would you lean? I cant change the 12/12 tent cycle as ive photos going. I think 12/12 because of the full spectrum lighting. Go! Lol

Autos will grow exponentionally faster under more light, for longer hours, so in your situation I would have them 18/6 space. Why not run your veg space even longer hours, 20/4 or even 24 hours.

You didnt mention how many t5 bulbs you run, but you can also always swap in a lower kelvin bulb or more when they start showing

There are 8 bulbs in my 2x4x4 tent. Simple bulb change once they start flower? Ill look into this. Appreciate your feedback.

You should be able to use your veg 6000k bulbs for flowering, they contain a full spectrum of red and green too.

My fixture specs claim my bulbs are "veg blue spectrum". Got some red spectrum coming and i think i will at the minimum put a few in at signs of flower. I love this site and appreciate all the feedback. Thanks!

Another vote for longer hours. 12/12 autos aren’t very big. I’ve run 24/0 22/2 and 20/4. I’ve settled on 20/4 for my autos.

Any thoughts on the t5s? Sharing the space with a few clones. Ive read to switch al bulbs & also that a blend is the way to go. I want all the ladies as happy as i can keep them.
Fixture is 2x4 with 8 bulbs in 2x4x4 if you missed it.

I’ve never used t5. Sorry I’m a newer grower that has only grown with MH/HPS

You do not need to switch t5's, triphosphor gives you a blend already. Think of the blues as a full spectrum you can use for everything if you want.
