Taking DWC SOG SCROG to a whole new level

This is a Illinois Medical Marijuana Grow limited to 5 plants

The first goal is to run a high performance DWC SOG SCROG and produce 12-16 ounces every 4 weeks on a consistent basis all within the legal parameters of Illinois medical marijuana laws. Some say it can't be done...

To add to the excitement of it all the grow is going to take place in a basement apartment in a two story house. My second and most important goal is to operate 100% undetected.

For the micro-grower a closet conversion can in many cases be a huge cost savings. Tents are expensive and once the zipper gets jammed up your tent basically becomes useless. Myself i prefer a multi-level closet conversion with hinge less magnetic doors

So here is my closet... My vision is that this will be my all inclusive veg chamber and home to 1 mama, 2 babies & a clone unit. Multi level.... oh ya and with hinge less magnetic doors. Im not into tents really.

how do you plan on getting 3 oz avg on a SOG plant? SOG means little to no veg time.

Great question ! Scorpion Hydroponics Silver Series SCROG System is designed to provide the potential to harvest much more than 3 ounces per plant. My goal is 16+ ounces per plant. Some say it can't be done.... I say "Watch me !"

Every plant gets 4 weeks of hypercropping veg time before being moved into the Flower Zone.

7 days cloning time.

This is the DWC system I intend to use. SCROG nets are universal which makes it nice.

not to argue with you but that's not a SOG. it's just a SCROG grow. Sea Of Green is lots of plants with zero to little veg time.

Sea of Green does not require "a lot" of plants. Sea of Green literally means 'perpetual harvest'. Consistently. Every 4 weeks harvesting 1 plant. Every 4 weeks. Every 4 weeks. Every 4 weeks.

What is a perpetual harvest?

At its simplest, the perpetual harvest is when one set of plants is harvested in a flowering space, then is replaced immediately by plants that have already completed vegetation in a separate space.

The Feds aren't handing out prizes for plant quantities but they do have mandatory minimum prison sentences they hand out.

So you are going to veg two plants for four weeks then flower for four weeks. What strain flowers in four weeks?

Oh wait, you are a new member. So how many grows do you have under your hat so far?

since you are the "expert", i'll just leave this with you:
Sea of Green (SOG, not to be confused with ScrOG) is the theory and method of harvesting lots of small plants, matured early to get the fastest production of buds available .

Matured early means little to no veg time. Lots of small plants means lots of small plants.
Carry on, noob.

I grew my first plant in 2002 a Northern Lights strain I bought from Marc Emery Direct. As a new grower I followed Kyle Kushmans veg / flower organic soil mixes and employed SuperCropping practices. I think the yield was around 3 ounces.

Since that first grow I have grow indoors in house attics, home basements, behind false walls.

So you will not fall on your face. What strain do you have that flowers in four weeks?

There is not a strain that i know of that flowers in 4 weeks. BUT if you force ONE plant into flowering and then 4 WEEKS later force the SECOND plant into flowering starts the perpetual 4 week harvest. Make sense yet ?
So you are harvesting one plant at a time every four weeks rather than having a four week flower time. 8 weeks veg, 8 flower.

Correct !! I will harvest 1 plant every 4 weeks.
Veg for 4 weeks
Flower for 8 weeks

** Keep in mind this is a Illinois Medical home grow so I am limited to 5 plants. Clones don't count unless they are over 5" tall

Well that changes things. Here a plant is a plant as long as it is in a grow media. The left plant is under 5"
Sorry, 7", removed picture.

Not all plants are ready all at the same time, but I’m always down for a “hold my beer” thread.
good luck with this system.

I'm thinking BC God Bud but they are out of stock now. I need a heavy producing strain with a 8 week average flower requirement. Any suggestions ?
