Is it possible to have too much light?

In an indoor situation is it possible to have too much light? What effects would be caused by too much light? I don't mean heat. Just actual light.

Yes. Heat issues and bleached leaves are common with too much light. It will effect yield. What is your situation?

Yes... Too much of ANYTHING is bad.. Including light... Light stress, bleaching, waste of elec.. Diminished ROI.. It's all there..

i was curious if it affected how long they take to finish. Or does it inhibit finishing. I've seen white hairs at the end still near the top.

Light levels are higher when closer to the plants.
Light intensity is inversely proportional to the square of the distance.

Closer light, stronger intensity but less coverage area.
Farther light, less intense light but increased coverage area.
