Hey all,
First grow here in at least 8 years. Was an avid outdoor grower and now that I have my own place decided to try my hand at a micro/small grow. Here are the room and grow specs:
Room: 1ft deep x 2ft wide x 2ft tall
Plant Count: 2
Strain: Indica dominant, very short node distance (~ .5-1in).
Soil: Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Nutrients: Fox farm trio / Cal Mag / Happy Frog top soil Fert
Lighting: ViparSpectra P1500 with 2 daylight 150w cfls that may be added during flowering
Currently I am ~1.5 weeks into veg and the plants are 4 inches tall and in smaller 4 inch planter cups. Now I've read that at a 2 week veg, flowering could require up to 2 gallon pots to be safe but after search around amazon for hours I can't find circular, square or rectangular pots that will get me beyond 1.2 gallons. The pots need to be low profile under 6 or 7 inches as even with LST I'm foreseeing the plants getting to be at least 7 inches (Combined 14 inches leaving 8 inches below the light). I thought about doing two 20 inch rectangular pots one in front of the other and LST across the length of the pot and leaving the colas in a straight line but the only ones that fit would be about 1 or so gallons. Anyone have any good suggestions for a pot / know if I need the full 2 gallons if I start flowering at 2 weeks? I don't want root lock to wreck my grow
Thanks y'all
Alex
