Cal mag

I agree depending on nute used I use coco tek a and b bloom and still saw cal mag issues untill I bumped up to 300ppm cal mag but I was growing blue dream which is a known cal mag hog
Cocotek has calcium nitrate in Bloom part A but mostly ammonium nitrate which doesn't really make sense for a product marketed for coco which has higher calcium requirements. But they do sell calmag as well which makes up for the lack of calcium. Which goes back to a previous comment I made about nutrient companies leaving calcium out on purpose so they can sell another product.

Not one person in this thread said that calcium and magnesium was not needed at all. i dont get all the yelling an crying? You got macro and micro elements......that should be the very first thing learned about plants. Boom! we magically all agree :bigjoint:

Newbie grower here. I'm growing in coco, so Cal-Mag is my religion, lol. It's like Frank's Red Hot Sauce; i put that shit on everything . I'm using GH Flora Trio, plus Armor Si and CaliMagiC regularly, at about 60% recommended levels.

I'm also doing just two plants with Fox Farm trio + Terpinator. No Cal-Mag for these ---but, if they become deficient I won't deny them. Also using these at about 60%. So far, 5 weeks in, just started flower, and the FF fed plants show NO need for cal-mag whatsoever. Oh and yes these are still in coco as well, i use Tupur, pre-prepared and buffered with perlite added.
