weed has been dried out too much from hanging. HELP

i have cut the buds off the main stem, and i have sprayed them lightly with a fine mist of water to try and put some life back into them, i have turned any heating off into the room and i have left them to aire overnight to dry.
Is this way ok to do, or have i messed up?

i don't know how much water you misted you could jar them with the stems the moisture in them will redistribute into the bud , id say jar them now and check them in the morning

if they seem too wet then lat them dry open on a paper towel for a few hrs

For anyone reading this, spraying water on your weed is the best way to get mold all over you hard work.

I would put the bud in a bag or jar, throw a tortilla in there or some bread, I like to keep it off the weed but whatever you need to do. If you have a lot of bud and it's real dry it might take a few applications to get where you want it. Good luck......JR

Roberts right, jar em n they draw the moisture from stems, ive read to hand em for one week max before baging em n opening bag once a day for 4 days them jar em to sukk the stems dry, youll have proper cured weed then, you dont want it too dry tho,p.s im know expert watsoever but read it only yesterday haha

If you had just jarred them, you'd have found'em moist tomorrow on their own.....the good side is drier weed vapes much better.....!!!

so have i ruined it, i havnt soaked them. but just lightly misted them until u see tiny drops on the buds. my thinking was that the leaf/bud would retain the water and put a little life back into them

u didnt ruin them just dont jar em now till ther dryer and remember not to fuck it up again hahaha j/k everyone learns somehow ull never do that again just use some fresh mj leaves or an orange peel to get that moisture back not water

What I've read is if they dried out too much its basically impossible to cure them the way they should have been (the bits in the plant that would have been working still dried up and died). The next best thing is sticking the too dry weed in a jar with a bit of orange peel or something, definitely do not spray them with water.

If you have live plants growing you can use a few fresh fan leaves instead of bread or orange peels, ect. Puts the right amount of moisture back in the buds without effecting the taste.

in a jar with a fan leaf from a plant the leaf will bring back moisture and the right type of moisture ;-)

I just got a bunch of clementine to add to jars. Mine is 48% because it was drying in a dry basement.

I just love smoking bread crumbs with my pot. puke.gif

Just wet some paper towel and leave it in there. Put it in a baggie on top of the pot with the baggie open if you're worried about getting a few buds wet and starting mould.

Once pot dries out the cure is over so it'll likely smoke harsh but will still get ya just as stoned. Could make oil with it and then a cure doesn't matter.
