What color is the mold? If your soil is too moist regularly, its likely a form of trichodermaHey guys there is some mold on my dirt now should I be concerned humidity 55-65
yeah, but for some reason... with some LED grow lights, if you use the back of your hand and it's fine. lets say you have your light 8-12" from your canopy... sometimes you get bleaching. which sucks. but I'm thinking.. that's for higher watt leds. all of my leds are 100-130W and I can keep them as close as 14" maybe closer (haven't tried) and the plants do just fine.Use the back of your hand as a temp gauge, too hot for your hand, too hot for your plant. Now this one is about 2 inches from her light at the highest point.
Back of the hand technique is for HPS/CMH... high intensity lighting. LEDs put out MUCH less heat, as they use less wattage to produce the same amount of light, therefore the hand technique simply doesn't work.yeah, but for some reason... with some LED grow lights, if you use the back of your hand and it's fine. lets say you have your light 8-12" from your canopy... sometimes you get bleaching. which sucks. but I'm thinking.. that's for higher watt leds. all of my leds are 100-130W and I can keep them as close as 14" maybe closer (haven't tried) and the plants do just fine.
you just made me so happy. trying to find app now.Back of the hand technique is for HPS/CMH... high intensity lighting. LEDs put out MUCH less heat, as they use less wattage to produce the same amount of light, therefore the hand technique simply doesn't work.
Could use a LUX light meter (relatively cheap to buy, or a can use a smart phone app which is much less accurate but gives a good idea) to measure how much light your plants are getting at the top of the canopy and go based on that to gauge proper light height/intensity for your setup
1600 or 16k?My phone says at 18inches 30 dim im at 1600 lx
16001600 or 16k?
My household lamps put off more than 1600lx......1600
The app is fairly accurate as long as your not using an old af smart phone. I mean, itll be a few thousand LUX off, but several people with LUX meters have tested it, and it's not more than 5-10k off.Yeah idk whats up with the app
Turn your dimmer all the way up, and hold your phone at roughly 12in... id expect to see at LEAST 60-80k lux if not moreHmmm okay ill try it again I got two of them on my galaxy 10 just seems off
Yes kings mix with recharge every 7-10 daysYour plants look hungry.
I believe you said you were growing in tupur? Is that correct?
