First time in coco need helps guys

Ive been in roollitup for around 10 years flting around threads it helped me have a bird eye n ossues that we ll go threw.

Now ive decided i will post my firts threads.

Ive been in soil for 10 years +. Now iam converting 8 lights in coco whitout perlite.

I have issues whit my watering...when to water and quantities.

Plants are 3 week from clones but they where reveg clones. I plant them straight in 5 gal pot plastic.

I give 1100 ppm and get 700 at run off.
I use ph perfect adv.

8 x DE 1000W
Room temp 75
Rh 50-60
Co2 burner at 700

At first weeks i was givving a 300ml every day.
Then a week later 500ml every day.
Then i figured maybe letting them dry because i have green algae on top.

Now im lost.....

Gotta keep coco moist. Never let it go dry.
I hear you should feed nutes every time you water but I’m sure someone will verify that.

They have light volor and purple stems.

They look hungry/under watered. I believe straight coco is drain to waste. Feed til run off. Focus in a circle around the root zone.
Just giving what I can. Never grew in coco but I read a shit ton of threads.

My hydro store fuy told me he waters evry 2 days when plant and roots are developped.

Problem is i dont even see roots go threw holes of pot yet and in soil after a week i would of see some.

Maybe im not letting dry enought?
Or maybe i dont give them enought? Lol

Depends on how much you are giving in volume. How is your drainage? You mentioned algae..

Drainage is ok...i can run irrigation for 2 min and get run off...
Algae is because it doesnt dry fast enought in accordance to the water schedule. As if i water over a moist already coco and nor drying will make green algae spots

Hydro store guys have been my real time consultants for yeaars. Iam a solo guy amd dont have friends in that game.

Hydro stores know me for 10+ years talk hours whit them...but if he waters full potent plants one 2 days...means i have to water my 3 week veg plants every 3-4 days if achieving run off each time?

I’d wait for someone growing in coco can chime in. Maybe @Doug Dawson can assist.
I think watering every 3-4 days in coco wouldn’t be good at all.

Some voodoo
Some cal mag

I know this website i read it a lot but maybe iam afraid of doing EXACTLY whats they state to do...

You guys think i should water every day till run off?

10% of the size pot should make it run off if watered every day?

At light on or before lights off or before lights on?

I was thinking also maybe my drip system leaving some spots in the pot whitout water...i have a 360 degree spider drippers but some part of the surface dont get wet at top...

Maybe give it a couple of hand feeding...
