800w is a bit on the heavy side for 4x4, that's 50w sq ft but since it doesn't cost much more than the 640w model I suppose you could just dim it a bit.

Definitely go with @FunkyPunk420 suggestion on the plastic starter pots. I only use Fabric for my final pots as it is a PITA to transplant out of a fabric pot.

Are you planning on running passive intake?

I would ditch the saucers and go with a flood tray. Just be sure to get one that has OD dimensions listed that will fit your tent. I made my trays out of wood and pond liner which is quite easy to do and a bit cheaper.

Yes i will be using passive intake for now at least.
I am new to the indoor growing.

I will definitely look into the flood tray idea thank you

I am going with the 12" fans
After measuring my fan is actually 12” I would say you definitely don’t need 2. It’s powerful I keep it on its lowest setting. I would say get a single 10” fan for the canopy and lights. And a small tabletop fan for below the canopy when things start to get dense into flower.

What are your temps usually like?

I wouldn’t go off of my temps lol. I live in the SoCal desert so temps run pretty high. The a/c basically there to keep the plants alive when it gets too hot.

Hot days when temps are around 110 I can barely get the tent down to 90-95.

When it’s around 95 outside I can keep it around 80-85

And when it’s around 80 degrees outside it’s perfect and I can keep them at 75-80

So it’s a warm autumn for the girls in the flower tent lol
