Air intake problem

Have been intaking fresh air from basement window until the colder weather hit. My basement is musky (older home) and have developed small powder mildew spots since intaking basement air. Is there something out there that can help with my situation? For new fresh air

Maybe try an air purifier? I mean I’m not 100% sure, but it’s worth a shot. Maybe hook a intake vent to the window and run it directly from outside?

1. Put a carbon filter on your intake.
2. You could continue running from outside and use a climate controller.
3. Are you sure you even need an intake? I have mine in a tent in the basement and even though I have an intake installed, I don't run it as I don't need it and it messes with my negative pressure.
4. Even if you did bring in more dense wet air, your dehumidifier should suck that wetness up.
5. Make sure you have good air flow or air movement. Your fans inside the tent ( i run wind devil) i think is more important than an intake fan.

Personally, I don’t run an intake. I run a 9 inch Walmart fan as an exhaust and it pulls lots of negative pressure in my tint and naturally pulls air in.
