One other thing, if the election is a wipe out for the republicans, especially in the senate, how eager are these unemployed senators going to be to do Donald's will? More likely the will want to do Donald, not his will!

Putin stay's in power through the use of (again) violent actions by his police and government agents. He's going to die and his police state will collapse in ruins. Ultimately, there is no power other than the people.

I think part of Trump's legacy will be to engage a generation in politics and accelerate liberal change in America. Many more Americans now apprehend the danger to the country, now that it has become polarized along firm lines of racial and social justice. Another thing I thing Trump has done is destroy the republican party as an option for several generations of Americans. If you win this time, the victory will be exploited, first the breakthrough, then exploitation, just as in war. 2022 will be another disaster for them with scandals, court cases, a lunatic base, redistricting, H.R.-1, social media regulation and the continuing unfolding legacy of Trump.

It's looking good foggy, I think America will be just fine, better in fact.

And that is what I would bet Trump wants. You can hear it in how he tried to sell the killer kid in Kenosha as 'going to get killed' after he killed a couple people playing Rambo on American streets.

Violence does not solve anything. Not unless the government wants to call turning prosperous cities into a deserts, "peacemaking". Those armed gangs, they are just more governance through violence. Dominating people through violence is the opposite of power.

That kid in Kenosha. He was a tool of Trump and our fascist right. Not saying he should be let free but I see him as a pawn and the people fomenting his actions as the true threat.

Our police are a threat too. We need to stop empowering them to do violence to ordinary people without fear of consequences. But they are also just tools. I believe that most police officers are not happy about the things they have been forced to do lately. We need to take advantage of that.

Do the math: 800,000 police officers trying to control 209,000,000 adult people in the US. The real power lies in the 209 million. Not that the 800,000 should be taken lightly but they have no power if we stop obeying the laws. None.

They went after me, red lights about 10mi down the road, and had me drive back & kept me there for a loooong time

edit, and I was empty & there was no line, just wasn't paying attention

You by yourself? They'd make an example of you.

If every trucker did that, it's still not enough. 3.5 million people are employed as truckers. If millions of civilians turned out to support the right of truckers to use those roads free from weigh stations then it would be the end of it right there.

So, I want a free delivery every now and then and maybe you'll get me out there to end those effin weigh stations.

Joe is on TV playing presidential, just dripping with empathy and social skills, he got the TV news slot right before Donald gets out of the hospital, the contrast will be interesting, Joe's team set it up that way. :D

He's gonna want to debate Joe again ya know, he has to, this time from a remote location (Joe is good at it, lot's of practice) and with a muted mic by the control room. Joe should debate him, confront evil head on and never miss the chance. Next debate is a town hall and citizens will be asking the questions, let Donald bully and talk over them, he can't answer any questions. It will make the first debate look tame, Donald will go off the deep end.
