Do I keep the branches tied down all throughout bloom?

Hello All,
My question, how long do I keep the branches pulled down while in bloom?
My project is in the first week of bloom and at the moment the branches are tied to continue growing horizontally, I re-adjust the ties as they grow longer. (It was topped so the two main and the two just beneath them are at the same level and all growing horizontally).

Would I be correct to assume I should continue the horizontal grow until I see buds form, then stop forcing it to grow sideways by adjusting the tie, so the buds can grow vertically, While maintaining a level canopy below?

Don't see the point in removing the ties, especially if they're helping keep the canopy even. Not going to hurt anything.
