3 weeks in Veg and 1 out of 11 plants showing pistils?? Any ideas why? Pre flower? Auto? Light schedule 18/6

Some auto flower begin showing pistils at 3 weeks.

Sometimes its the pheno but most of the time its due to stress causing it to flower earlier than it would have if there was no stress.

You topped it. That's the stress factor right there.

It was showing pistils before I topped. Wedding cake strain that came in 3 pack of seeds, I thought maybe an auto flower accidentally got thrown in

Yes definitely will but not worried about it, just wandering what I should do with her? Leave her in room and wait for others to go into flower?
Remove her from room?

It has to be an auto if it has been under 18/6 the whole time. I have the opposite issue, an auto that did not start to flower. I did not train the thing because it was an auto and after almost 3 months veg flipped the lights to 12/12 and a week later it started budding. Now that thing is still a couple weeks away, takes up my entire tent and prevents me from starting a new crop. It has literally been over 6 months and I have to see it through just on principal, lol. I would reach out to the seed company though, mistakes happen and they obviously made one, you may get some free beans for your trouble.

Autos like 18 hours of light, I would leave her right where she is and let er buck. Who knows, might end up with something awesome.

I was about to start scrambling to set up a closet space for her but think I’ll just let her be and hope for something awesome!! The seed bank seems legit on compensation for beans that don’t pop that’s why I continue to go back, a new learning experience and this is what I love about growing!!

Ok so not to thread steal but I had the same happen out of a bag seed. I topped and she started nugging out just little. Do I put her down to 18/6 and light flower nutes? I could go take a more recent but that was 2 days ago and I don't wanna get up

I'd just start over. You might get an eight. Im not being a dick either. Use the space for something productive.

Update I let her go with the rest and she was definitely an auto......harvested a zip and was pleased with the quality.
