bud rot????

hey everyone. i’m new here and just trying to see if this is bud rot or not? i’ve seen online if theirs any white hairs on the stem to throw away but then again i also heard their different types of triochiomes . i smoked this and it was harsh and just different but i got absolutly stoned . thanks in advanc

I see a cat hair or a carpet fiber, but can't really see much more, there. Maybe a more focused close up picture, might help.

I had some very similar looking things on my last harvest. That being said I have nothing else to really add. I smoked it. My drying conditions were superb so if it was rot or mold I'd be surprised.

yeah i’m trying to right now. from my aunt that got in from the streets so it probably is mold. i’m waiting to smoke anymore of it

Go Go Kid was responding to the earlier pics I think, and in general white hairs could mean mold, but in this case that really looks like resin glands to me in the later shots.

What were your conditions like? Were they suboptimal? Do you have reason to suspect something is wrong or is it just general worry?
Also the pics looks super different depending on the lighting. The buds go from brown to green in the pics

if you can look closely on stem the white hairs are what i’m talking about . weed also seems like spongy i can pinch it with my two fingers as hard as possible and no breaking of any sort
