When I referring to LEC, I should have explained better. It wasn't in reference to the power but more the actual light that can be seen by passers by at night. The appearance of LEC isn't so alarming to raise suspicion
Ohhhh my fault. Aren't you getting a tent??

Oh, absolutely 70Sat ;-) I think that's a great way to keep track of reference and also to share as you state. I'm so glad I found rollitup, it has a nice helpful community, and what better way to give back to share with those who are in the same position as you once were.

Tent is blacked out, unless for some reason you plan on having the doors wide open all the time..
.
Yes I am getting a tent, I was reading about people who in the UK, who have never been caught in yrs of growing, and what their methods were to secure their op. This guy had mentioned LEC as being a safe choice due to the possibility of drawing attention to passers-by outside of the home. I was assuming they were referring to when they had to open the tent and tend to the plants

Got ya now. Then I would stay away from anything onlder LED BURPle. Referring to the purple color it gives off. Stick with white light leds. Like the vipar P or XS for example

A discount is always welcomed SSBCal ;-) I was just looking at there site, I see that the Meanwell driver that was mentioned earlier can be purchased with the XS range but not with the P series, Did you get a Meanwell driver for the Ps series, would you recommend it for the p1000, if so is this something you purchased separately from another company. I don't see it advertised on the Amazon UK, but neither is the XS range;-(

I have three P1500's. No they don't have samsung/meanwell.. but still are nice on my opinion. I bought 2 xs2000's just to upgrade and bc i got a killer deal.
The P1000 (single) won't be enough for your needs. It will get you through Veg but not flower. You'd need like 4 of them. Let me check on prices and my codes real quick.

Oh, it states in there site the P1500 caters to
Vegging Coverage
3' x 3' @ 20'' (This is bigger than the tent width and debth)
Flowering Coverage
2.5' x 2.5' @ 16'' (This is the actual size of the tent width and debth)

I was thinking the p1000 was more suited
Vegging Coverage
2.5' x 2.5' @ 18''
Flowering Coverage
2' x 2' @ 14'' (This is 10cm shorter either side inside the tent width and debth)

So now I'm confused about why I need more than 1

Ok, the codes I have 30% are now already applied to the P series. $99usd(amazon) for p1500 is ok. Vipar website is $119. I got em for 89 but the code it done.

Cheapest I found it. for the P1500. It would perform better than the P1000 in the small space you are using.

So P1000 is 100watt actual pull from your wall. Your tent is 10sq feet. LED tent grows need 35watts at the minimum sq/ft. Some say up to 50w/sq ft. Shoot for 40. So if you have one p1000 (100w) that only gives you 10w sq ft. Which will give you airy small worthless buds. Get what im saying? Thats why i was saying youd need more than one. Go by watts not necessarily coverage area.
