So I have been monitoring my plant for the last 2 weeks and noticed new white hairs
forming a crown like shape at the top of some of the main colas. I'm on the fence on what
exactly it is...

Is it telling me there's still time?

or am I getting foxtails?

I have noticed foxtailing on other buds.. but none of that looks like this...

Anyone with time to give a quick look & thought on it is appreciated.

I wish I can help @Wizzlebiz @Doug Dawson

It's just foxtails, they wont hurt anything. Could be heat or light stress. No need to rush chop over it. What lights are you using, how far from plants, how big is space, what is temp?
I have a the spider farmer sf1000 16 inches from the tops.
in a 2x4x6 tent
Been keeping lower temps to mimic mother nature around this time of year so Temps are around 72-74F / Night temp around 68F
RH 45-52% lights on
RH 54-57% lights off
Constant air movement and exhaust.

Sorry, a couple more things? What strain and can you give a pic of the plant from further away? Foxtails can be genetic. Right now I have 1 plant that has been giving me grief and is fox tailing like crazy. I went away for a week 2 times and both times my son fed her for me. Somehow one of the ducts connecting to the light came off, a different one each time, and drove the temps up causing tons of stress. She will be fine but asthetically looks horrible due to the heat stress and fox tailing. That said it will not affect the quality of the bud, just the look.

It's bag seed. Which makes me thing it can be subject to lots of imperfections.
It could be due to the changes in the lighting right? I did just recently put the spider farmer in there. I had 2 blurple lights above it prior.
Those ran 216W total and this light is only using 100W.

On the strain all I am sure of is it's sativa dominant.

I think it's because he's light was won lol jo

Sorry for the shitty lighting on the 3rd pic. Looking for a better one.
The change in light could have had an impact. New spectrum etc. Also bag seed is unknown so could be genetic. They look like they are getting close. Keep watching those trichomes on the buds, not the leaves and you will be good. I am pretty sure you have these already but just to be sure. ready-not ready.jpgwhen-to-harvest_1_1.jpgwhen-to-harvest-cannabis-diagram.jpg
