Plants droop till next light cycle every time I water.

Perlite doesn't expand and contract like coco. Coco creates air pockets after every watering. Your roots will be less likely to drown or rot.

I’ll try that next time. I’m actually gonna switch soils next grow. Also my next grow won’t be Autos. I do much better with photos.

I’ll try getting the temps up a little bit next time I water see if that helps but I have a ton of perlite in there I’ll take a picture in the morning

With led you’ll want a higher canopy temp.
When I first ran leds, I was trying to keep temps like you.
Yeah they’ll grow, slowly.
Once I bumped my temps up, I quit having the droops.
There are strains that are more prone to drooping, at night.
Honestly all depends on the environment. If you have your shit dialed in, the leaves should stay pretty perky at all times, even at night.

Reason I rule out the soil and roots drowning is If I water with 4 hrs left in light cycle they are perky 8 hrs later when lights come on. If I water with 10 hrs left in the light cycle that’s 2 hrs more they are still droopy. So it’s a weird thing going on.

I had this issue before. It sorted itself out when the plant was flowering and never drooped again.

So basically I was overwatering and flooding the oxygen out the soil.

Try watering less in a couple stages rather than 1 big load.

I actually had one pheno of hindu kush do this it was in a air pot getting plenty of oxygen barely watered it as its one of those finicky strains that likes it dry mostly tbh hindu is one of the quickest strains to show you things it likes and doesnt that ive come across especially considering its a indica but as others say usually it means lack of oxygen but i do think its possible to get the odd pheno thats just a moody bitch let her dry out more adjust your watering schedule and see if she perks up or not

Then why if I water 4 hrs befor lights out it’s good 8 hrs later when lights come back on. And if I water with 12 hrs left befor lights out it’s not ok till 16 hrs later. I’m in fabric pots also. Air flow out the ying yang With Plenty of added perlite and have never had this happen in 4 years of using the same 1/2 ffof & 1/2 ffHF with 30-40% added perlite with Stones last 2 inches at bottom. I have excellent drainage never stays wet more than 48 hrs.

Well perhaps it’s quantity rather than frequency. Maybe best to try less water more often?

I've got some sensi blackberry just now, I've been messing around fine tuning with my green headlamp and I've noticed the leafs hanging down much lower than when the light is on.

The pots aren't to wet or over watered, light out rh 52/55% temperature 21.3c/66/67f.
I feed them on a cycle through the light period, the last feed is 4 hrs before lights out.
I can't say I've ever noticed that leafs drooping like that, i might have missed it before but it's highly unlikely?
I'm not concerned about it tbh if I should be then I'm all ears?

Not unless they’re dropping during lights on for long periods of time, no worries.
My suggestion would be to feed them after a hour or two of lights on.
My lights on occurs at 2pm.
I water around 3pm and they’re good to go.
I just feel they uptake more water during lights on and I don’t want my pots to be soggy during lights off.

I do almost the very same as yourself for the same reasons, I also put lids on my pots so the wet coco isn't exposed to the environment,
A bonus of that is roots grow up as well as down, the top of my coco is covered in roots and it helps with the humidity.

On my 2nd grow of Zkittels Autoflower from Fast Buds. First grow went killer got 10 oz. off of 2 plants in 70 days. This grow going good also but about a week ago one of the plants starts drooping everyday after about 14 or 15 hours of light. The next morning they are perky and praying not even an hour after light comes on. Have an Electric Sky 300 and GrowcraftX2 300 watt in a 4x4 tent and been on 18/6 light schedule since seed. 35 days from seed in FFHF soil, little Tiger Bloom and water when pots are light in 5gal. cloth pots. I dont have much experience except last grow and didnt see this.

Now I have about 35% perlite and have still been watering every two days.

My last run I didn’t add any perlite, just coir and I watered every two days instead of every day. (Until about 3 weeks from harvest I started watering everyday)
I grew a beast from that coir run.
Now I have about 35% perlite and have still been watering every two days.

Every 2nd day, normally I'd have a 60/40 mix of perlite and coco, and feed them daily, i used 100% coco to limit the frequency of feeding, i like perlite but I don't think it's essential for me atm with limited time to spend tending to them.

I’m reusing coco from a plant last grow.
I don’t think I’ve heard of people reusing their coco on here.
Going really good so far, I’m surprised I don’t hear more about anyone trying it.
