My bro's plant-HELP

Alright, Here it is, straight and dirty:

  • My bro's grow space is quite hot. Upwards of 90 degrees.
  • They've had some Fox Farm Big Bloom according to the schedule that comes with the 3-pack.
  • There were some bugs crawling around the soil before, now not sure. He didn't transplant.
  • Its not overwatered. Once a week
  • I don't want to bash the guy but he's not exactly doing his research.
Any Ideas? Rep+ for help

Thanks bro, We'll move the light up, I think its about 12" away. Yes, its a 400 HPS.

The schedule for the 3-pack of FF nutes says to use Big Bloom first. I don't know why, but it does. Grow Big comes in the second week or third week.

cool those babies keep under 80 fans fresh air and fogger 2 times over 3 days
He knows its too hot. I guess he needs a portable A/C. Its in his master closet. Hes less-involved in his project than I am in mine.

CO2 lets the plants work in hotter temps right? I haven't looked into CO2 at all yet.

CO2 can help plants grow in higher heat, but past 93 or so they aren't going to make it. get a fan. 20" box fans with variable speed are easy, cheap and effective. To get the most out of them, use them to draw warm air out of the growing space, like in a door or box opening. flexible ducting and inline fans are more expensive, but may work better for your situation. go to HTGsupply.com

If you want to use CO2, get about a tblsp of yeast and 6 cups of sugar and put it into a gallon water jug filled halfway with water. after a couple of days it will bubble up with CO2.

Those plants are burnt. flush them with some water; either water that is purified, distilled, or at least let sit out for a while to let some chlorine out.

good luck on the grow.

Numb Nuts has a 6" inline duct fan & an 8" inline duct fan. + a couple other ones inside. He needs to get his exhaust from the cooltube out of the closet. Thats why its getting up to 90+. I'll get him to put a fan on the floor blowing cool air into his closet at least.

So some fresh water and raise the light. & as much cool air as possible. Thanks guys.
