What to do with a Sativa that no longer fits in the grow?

Hi,
Is my first grow and I tried 3 Northern Light Auto and 1 Photoperiod Sativa seed (I don’t know the specie).
I waited for the 3 automatics to blossom (I already cut one, two are in the final stage), always on 18/6 light. Now that all the automatics is done, I’ll change the lights to 12/12. But now the Photoperiod Sativa is bigger than my grow can support, what can I do to don’t let the lights burn the plant?

Why did you cut the top off? You should have just supercropped it or bent the top over and tied it down. You just cut off a good portion of your yield.

I've dealt with bigger sativa's than that. You just need to be creative.

I crammed this plant into a 4 x 4 tent by supercropping and tying it down.

I tought if I top the plant will concentrate more energy on the other buds, I prefer less bigger buds than a bigger plant without control with lots of small buds.
Just call it a lesson learned and next time you grow a sativa remember that they can get big and grow fast so get on top of the training early and don't let them get too big before you start flowering them.

I transplanted it into a 3 gallon pot and put it in the flower tent. I didn't wait 10 - 14 days for it to recover or anything like many say to do. But I never experience this so called transplant shock you hear about so much. It didn't skip a beat and was rootbound when I harvested it so the roots just kept growing even though it went into 12/12. Many cannabis growers think you have to do this that and another thing. I don't do any of them. Plants grow fine.

I heard someone say Supercrop... but you super topped! I hope you at least tried to root the cutting. Could have 2 plants running same strain if it roots.

Do a search here for Topping" definitely read up on it. and then check a few vids out on topping. Google is you're best friend. There you can get opinions and advice from ppl with clean urines. I hear they are more trustworthy (Which I don't believe) lol
